Is there a compelling reason I can't take a drone (some small one) and shove a smart jammer in it and add some masking and ECM? I'm thinking I could build something like the Armadillo, but cheaper.

Size is the only real factor (meaning the range of the jamming signal) generally, the smaller the device, the less range it has... But that might not be a bad thing either...
