New anthology on the way, to be released at GenCon 2015. Full post on the CGL website:

SHADOWRUN WORLD OF SHADOWS, ANTHOLOGY ($12.95)

The Sixth World is a dangerous place, with deadly hazards lurking around every corner. Everywhere shadowrunners go, from the top of the world to the deepest, darkest Sprawl neighborhood, some’s always looking to make their rep by taking you down.

World of Shadows is the second anthology of original Shadowrun short stories, each one showcasing some of the most far-flung, treacherous locations around the world. From a scientific mission gone wrong in the snowy wilds of Russia to an AR nightclub in Morocco sheltering runners on the lam to a recovering runner drawn into a deadly web of intrigue in the darkest alleys of Hong Kong, these eighteen original short stories explore exotic settings far off the beaten path. Featuring stories by Michael A. Stackpole, Mel Odom, Jean Rabe, Aaron Rosenberg, Phaedra Weldon, Annie Bellet, Chris A. Jackson and many others, find out what happens when shadowrunners have to battle not only with ever-present threat of the corps and Mr. Johnson, but also the dangers of the very land they stand on.

oooo.. that looks tasty.

Sadly can't make the Con... do they have a rough ETA for release after the event as we know the Con run is always a limited run and not part of the normal distribution.

Am intrigued to see another Stackpole story in the mix.  Will it be another Wolf story or something entirely new?

Damn teases. :P

There's a great story by some guy named Zimmerman in there that's a lot of fun.

So we going to finally get that Strays/Shadowrun crossover: Life on the Streets from a Pet's Perspective? :P

I got this Thursday afternoon shortly after I got to the con. I did read the Stackpole story as soon as I could. Yes, it is a Wolf story, no Raven, no Kid Stealth but you can't have everything. It was a good story and I can't wait for more! I"m about halfway through the collection, in fact, just finished Patrick Goodman's story. So far, there's only one story I haven't liked(no, not Patrick's, it was one of the good ones!). Based on what I've read so far, I'd recommend it for fans of Shadowrun. I love the idea of setting the stories in places we don't normally see in Shadowrun stories and scenarios.

And now a review has come in. Maybe I can relax now...nah. Not in my nature, sadly.

Deville just gave his review. I've seen nothing formal yet.

It sold briskly at GenCon, and I reckon it's in the pipeline to B&N and local game shops as we speak,  so (while I don't have official word yet) I'm going to go out on a limb and say, "Soon."

It indeed sold briskly at Gen Con--we sold out! This was a print-on-demand run, so the full run should be coming shortly. Which means no street date yet, but hopefully before long.

So, finally finished reading all the stories in the anthology and I have to say that my previous comments still stand. There was still only one story I didn't like and I have no doubt someone else would read it and totally disagree with me, so, if you get the chance, pick World of Shadows up and get ready to enjoy the round the world action. I, of course, especially loved the Stackpole story, but also recommend Mel Odom's "Nothing Personal". It definitely ended the book on a high kick ass note. I won't say all of these stories were the greatest ever written but this is a solid collection of stories and there's plenty of things to enjoy and lots of 6th World character. If I were rating this on Amazon, it would get 4 stars easily!
