I wouldn't consider that the same kinda of energy.

As a GM I would allow it if you went to the trouble and spent the karma to develop an new spell for the purpose

Maybe but then again it could just be me haveing an issue with magic and tech working together.

Don't get me wrong I like both it's why I love Shadowrun but something were just not meant to be.

I've been partial to the combat ax wielding troll ever sense they talked about it in I think second edtion.

...ouch! APDS rounds are strong as hell, your troll PC will make swiss cheese out of his ennemies.

With all the talk about guns I feel the need to say something about my personal favorite piece of equipment. The oft forgotten and much under estimate knife. It's a tool, weapon, eating utensil, and best of all it never runs out of bullets/batteries. It can't be hacked and it never jams.

I am reminded of a saying i heard somewhere: "Always bring a knife to a gunfight, just don't forget the gun."  I think it was one of the wonderful people at  Aegis Consulting.

I think I will have to say it is the Aztechnology Itzcóatl Gauss Cannon (Arsenal pg. 123) mostly because I like big guns, and I like gauss weapons.
