Alright, well I have a Technomancer I'd like to throw in, that is more of my Techno-hunter design, rather than my usual Overwatcher.

She's suppose to be a bit more combat oriented than other Technomancers, using sprites to boost her use of the HK XM30. S Very reliant on gear, and not very good at Decker type hacking stuff.

I've got a second version of her where she isn't a technomancer but a full blown cyborg. (All the cyber limbs).

Both are fairly military rough and tumble types, and probably combat junkies.

*****

There is also John Cormac, a pirate adept.
John is a lucky son of a dog who focuses on mostly smuggling, and often wears his trade mark clothing along with a ballistic mask that is shaped to look like a skull. This guy has a reputation of being both insane and lucky, as well as his trade marked weapon, a 1700's flint lock rifle.

*****

Candlekey Bookbelle
An older woman, a mystic adept who uses her magic for healing, something she's very good at. Tends to use holistic type medications though, as they are more 'pure' than modern science medical practices. Has ties to a number of important figures around places to try and get as much pull as possible as she is quite discreet when needed, choosing favors over money.

*****

????
An assassin who tends to use legal bounty hunting as his primary source of income. Often takes both jobs above and below the table for the same thing.

*****

Siren
A gagatastic performer who often brings men falling to her feet. Typically ends up being a distraction for the rest of the team, and what a distraction she is.

*****

Estil Merriweather
An alchemist who hunts down her foes with a variety of arrows. uses lots of gurellia tactics in combat and has a bit of a reputation of being a coward.

****

The Gentleman
A British swordfighter who fights with honor and virtue. Tad bit insane, but a gentleman never the less. Wears a number of Viciean masks with different qualities to them

Heh, I just kept putting more and more characters in this post, I could put more and develop on them if any sound interesting.
Concepts are great, but implementation sucks. Why not improve it?

Prime runner is the opposite of Street runner, rules for it on page 64 of the core book. Mostly you get more nuyen and karma, as well as more contacts.

That is definitely a lot of characters, but you can only use one XD. There might be some missions on the water, so the pirate is a good choice. then again, I think "Raised eyebrow smiley face" sounds like a good character.

Right. Prime is a more experienced shadowrunner. They start with 30 kerma I think. Like Trisk said, page 64 in a sidebar you can find it. Chummer 5 supports prime runner char gen as well.

Well for the Pirate,

While I say he's a pirate think "Pirates of the Caribbean" with him, he's watched the entire series, including the trids with Johnny' depp's clone. He's certainly a lot more pink mohawk than he is black trenchcoat. So much edge he doesn't know what to do with it all.

The assassin, I've got two ideas with him. The first on is Grim, a scythe wielding assassin. A bit of smoke and mirrors with this fellow, as its generally easier to deal with people when they think death incarnate is actually coming after them.

The second one uses two snap blades, and a lot of parkour and the like. Less flashy, more subtle. They could even be the same person, possibly depending on the mission involved he might use the grim persona.

This is going to be more "black trenchcoat" so take that in mind when you choose which character to use.

Just the Prime Runner rules, or would you consider High Life priorities, too? (Pd mentioned them already)

Ooh, Prime Runner; in that case I'd love to play a decker, as I still haven't gotten around to that. Technomancer, yes, but not a pure decker.

I'll throw in Luther Stanz, AKA Pulsar.

Quote from: Character Background
Luther grew up in the slums of New Orleans and was orphaned at a young age when both of his parents succumbed to a particularly rampant strain of influenza; while Luther survived the infectious disease his immune system was thrashed as a result, and he's frequently suffered from infections well into adulthood.

With the loss of his parents Luther was quickly tossed out on the streets and forced to survive by begging tourists for cash or food. Before long he found himself forced to join the ranks of one of the many street gangs in the area, or face a quick and brutal death for infringing on their turf. While the gangs offered some measure of protection, Luther was perceived as a weakling, since he was both frail of body and more often than not in poor health. As a result, he was often used as bait for the gangs scams, and commonly found himself in trouble with the local NOPS troopers. It wasn't until he got his hands on his first deck that he really realized his full potential.

Though he was still scrawny in the physical world, Luther quickly became something of a local powerhouse in the Matrix; his abilities as a decker allowed him to elude the watchful eyes of GOD, and he shortly made a career for himself busting into the security systems of rival gangs. Luther adopted the online moniker Pulsar, and over the next few years made himself known as a skilled Matrix specialist in the slums of New Orleans.

Fast forward 15 years, and Luther has made it big. He's got state of the art cyberware and wiz decking skills that's landed him a lot of cushy jobs.

I'll put some more thought into the transition from street urchin to prime runner if you'll have me as a player, as I originally built this guy for a street level campaign. I'll throw together some stats and see what I can come up with. He'll be of average stats but with multiple skills, and some shiny chrome. Dedicated hacker, for sure, with minimal combat ability, maybe a backup rigger (autonomous drones kind of thing).

How about a  adept  martial artist. I see alot of deckers wanting to join so maybe I can play with a bit of hacking skill to support?

Sort of a adept Inflitrator representative of a foreign interest....

I'm interested! This is my first Prime level character, I hope you like him :-)

Edit: He is combat guy. He is good with lasers and with anything else he is adequate. He also has skill piloting most vehicles. I gave him an HK XM30 so that he can fill whatever roll is necessary for the team. LMG for suppressive fire? Shotgun for midrange urban engagements? Sniper to cover the retreat/take down long distance threats? Anyhow that's the plan, let me know what you think :-). I can get you a build if you want to see!

Wraith

Rick Mathers was a company man through and through. He grew up with Ares, and he was soon groomed for HTR once they noticed his quick reflexes and athletic ability. He took well to the training, and they put him in a KE HTR squad. Rick quickly grasped the basic training with most weaponry, whether he was trained for it or he practiced with team members during down time. Rick took a liking to laser weaponry and had KE issue him a Redline.

Rick picked up the nickname "Wraith," and it has stuck with him ever since. He's not sure whether the nickname came from the dead look in his eyes or from the way he slips through a battlefield unnoticed. Over the years, Ares paid to "upgrade" Rick, and he has lost much of that human spark most people take for granted.

Unfortunately, Rick fell for a sweet looker named Arial. The two dated for about 6 months up until two weeks ago. Rick had a date with Arial, and she was about 45 minutes late. She was obviously stressed out and said that they had to go now. They stepped into a nearby ally and Arial told him that there were two men after her and they had to run now. The two guys showed up with a shoot first ask questions later attitude, and Wraith had no qualms with returning the favor.

The aggressors weren't much of an issue, so Rick asked her to stay back while he checked their vitals and ID. A quick search turned up KE ID. They were undercover, but there was no doubt about it. By the time Rick turned back for Arial she was gone.

Rick snagged what he could from home. He had an unregistered Redline he.."acquired," as well as some other off-books gear but not much. The past two weeks Rick has been living out of a Ford Americar he paid for with what funds he had remaining. He has since begun searching the shadows for a place to call his own for however long he has left. Rick doesn't know who Arial is or what she did, but he knows that she took his life and intends to return the favor.

Alright, if Magic isn't going to be taken ( I see lots of combat oriented and a few matrix guys) I'm going to go with Estil Merriweather, my alchemist gurillia tactics mage, Candlekey bookbelle my magical street doc, or perhaps even go my jewel thief mage.
Concepts are great, but implementation sucks. Why not improve it?
