It's a cipher referred to as ROT13, if that's the one I'm thinking.

Okay. I'm going to gather up all the answer/codes I can find, from me doing them and then some on the net.

Ok, so - I know I'm late to the party, but I just want to say that I'm having a blast going through these and feel 'justly rewarded' for my time spent so far.  When it comes to the out of order posts, I feel that it just piques the curiosity more and the posts that end mid-sentence seem to come together like one of those movies with the fast/jagged cuts between opposing scenes. Besides, this is Shadowrun people - How often do you actually find out the necessary information in the correct chronological order anyway?  You make due with what you dig up, hope that you can use that to fill in the gaps and if not? Go with what you've got.  Bull already said that all the fic will be released eventually, so even if you don't like the game - you're not missing out if you don't play it.  It's not a matter of poor execution or 'doon it rong lol'.

TL;DR - Don't give the GM shit if the campaign isn't up to your taste, run your own or find another game.

Okay, so the next password is out. I'm just posting it here in a cleaned up form. But I'm dumping the spoiler tags as they annoy me on this forum.

Starting again with Eye of the Hurricane 8: http://www.shadowruntabletop.com/coming-so...he-hurricane-8/
Twitter Password is Stu4shack.

That leads to Sleeping with the Enemy 3: http://www.shadowruntabletop.com/coming-soon/sleeping-with-the-enemy-3/
The key to this one is just Time. Wait 3 minutes and the link will pop up.

Then on to Sleeping with the Enemy 6: http://www.shadowruntabletop.com/coming-soon/sleeping-with-the-enemy-6/
the very first words on the page "wiped out." click each letter to get the next page link.

On to Sleeping with the Enemy 8: http://www.shadowruntabletop.com/coming-soon/sleeping-with-the-enemy-8/
There is a hidden link off to the left of "audience.//" towards the bottom of the page that activates the page link.. Highlighting the text on the page will also show this link.

Next up is Princes 1: (finally) http://www.shadowruntabletop.com/coming-soon/princes-1/
This one is another puzzle key. just piece together the Aztechnology symbol.

That leads to Princes 5: http://www.shadowruntabletop.com/coming-soon/princes-5/
The password for this is hidden in all the shaded letters on the page which form an anagram for Telestrian, which is the password.

Now we land on The Artful Dodger 2: http://www.shadowruntabletop.com/coming-soon/the-artful-dodger-2/
Look for the Shaded/greyed out phrases on the page (3245, time, 2067) Then just multiply the two numbers for the password 6707415.

This leads to Pulling the Trigger 2: http://www.shadowruntabletop.com/coming-soon/pulling-the-trigger-2/
The key for this one is to assemble the Sader Krupp logo in the puzzle at the bottom. Watch out for the "Blank" tile in the box tho.

On to Pulling the Trigger 8: http://www.shadowruntabletop.com/coming-soon/pulling-the-trigger-8/
The password for this is a bit obtuse but the two greyed words "23rd & word" are telling you to use the 23rd word in this text as the key. Password = units.

Then we hit Pulling the Trigger 11: http://www.shadowruntabletop.com/coming-soon/pulling-the-trigger-13/
Ooooh Boy.... This page. I'm just gonna give super props to Caradoc for this one. I couldn't do and had to look it up.
The password is a translation of "Nmgyna" to "Aztlan" using the code from the ROT13 puzzle from earlier.
And for those of you wanting to actually read that page, Caradoc translated for us in his first post on the above link!

And on to the next. Which is Cracks 1: http://www.shadowruntabletop.com/coming-soon/cracks-1/
The puzzle key on this one is the NeoNet symbol. Just piece it together but look out for the two blank pieces on this one.

That takes us to Cracks 5: http://www.shadowruntabletop.com/coming-soon/cracks-5/
The shaded text assembles "Ares founder" which is Nicholas Aurelius. But you just need his last name Aurelius for the password.

Now we get a new set of stories, Dragon 3: http://www.shadowruntabletop.com/coming-soon/dragon-3/
The password here is an anagram of the shaded letters in text. the answer is Alamais.

And another of the new set Dragon 5: http://www.shadowruntabletop.com/coming-soon/dragon-5/
This page starts off blank. Just click in the blank spaces to reveal the text hidden there. The link to the next page appears when you've clicked all the text.

Then to Dragon 8: http://www.shadowruntabletop.com/coming-soon/dragon-8/
You have to click all the words that are missing in the blank spaces, also don't forget to get both the ">"s by the shadow comment.

And finally we come to Dragon 12: http://www.shadowruntabletop.com/coming-soon/dragon-12/
This is the next twitter password page, so I'll see you again when they give it out.

I am curious about what people think about the actual fiction pieces that they're uncovering. Much has been made of the puzzles, but not of what they're finding underneath.

Well, as I stated above. I can't read most of them. (you realize how hard it was to scan thru that stuff and not read it, so I could get the clues...)

This set finally gave the #1's of another set so I've only gotten to read two plots now. But from what I have read, good stuff. Thumbs up.
I assume some of them are yours Patrick?

I just hope it doesn't turn out to be that I'm just reading all the stuff from inside Storm Front. I hope this is "in addition to".

Some of it's mine, yes, but I really wasn't fishing for compliments. I'm just curious what people are thinking about what they've seen, no matter which of us wrote it. Implications for their games, etc.

Patrick:
I fully admit i've made heavy use of peoples spoilers to read through... overall though I really like the darker feel.
The blood of the dragons will run red through streets!  Greats being supremely preoocupied with each other with open warfare and the most most runners will need to deal with being the occasional lesser dragon.

GD killed by a swarm of army ants... good thing... especially when it was kicking the ant hill as much as it did.  The kind of thing to even make Lofwyr with his survival of the fittest step up and take notice.  (though quite frankly I've always been uncomfortable with people trying to write plots for things with intuition/logic in the 30+ range...)

Bigger and more bounties hopefully on infected as their monstrous bits express more on top of a lot of bad PR with things like the DeVries bits.   No more sparklies or WoD wannnabes!

Ares...  no clue not enough info there to draw much of any conclusions.   One can only conclude it has something to do with the buggies though.  Shadowruns boogeymen for a long time...

Matrix bits... way too early to say...   and I'll avoid commenting on my hopes for the system as there have been pretty much no hand tips outside of.   Return of cyberdecks == good.  If you can use a commlink to 'go in naked' great as well.   With the older feel.. .not addressed is the everything is wireless even when it doesn't make sense.   Though 'the elf from the looney bin' reminds me very much of an old school otaku making the rounds again (not a techno, not a pure decker, possibly even a hacking adept;   always loved the concept of a hacking adept... one of the few concepts to SUCCESSFULLY merge magic, tech, and viable character concept).

Possible major war on top of this with the orb sat bits... a bit of non-nuclear winter maybe for the next cataclysm from some orbital bombardment.  (though space really still is  largely untouched frontier in SR... kinda funny in a way... as one of the maxims of space combat is he who controls the gravity well has the ability to destroy most anything by putting thrusters on a big rock and dropping it)

Another catastrophic event though leaves the door open as well to shedim as the other big systemic boogeyman.
I am curious about what people think about the actual fiction pieces that they're uncovering. Much has been made of the puzzles, but not of what they're finding underneath.
That's partly because the disjointed nature of the release makes it hard to actually read through the fiction. It is like listening to a few bars of Concrete Dreams, before it switches to a random few bars from Mercurial, before it switches to Crime Time, before it switches to the Beatles, before it switches to Grim Aurora, before it switches to Deirdre, and finishes with Shield Wall. What would be awesome turns to incomprehensible junk.

As for what I've been able to glean (mostly from the kind soul who gathered the pieces into a text file so they could be easily read), well, they sound interesting enough, but the bits on the Matrix and the Tir elections are the ones that are most likely to affect runners. Unless Ares's next big thing turns out to be something nasty.

That's partly because the disjointed nature of the release makes it hard to actually read through the fiction.

DS can probably help you on that. They have a thread where they compiled the different storylines.

The return of Cyberdecks? Nah don't really like it EXCEPT if 'Cyberdeck' in that case stands for 'pimped up commlink you can't buy legally'. Thats okay with me as long as the off-the-shelf commlink keeps it's funcionality for non-hacker activities.. Turning up the matrix general security due to new encryption and new/old system topography - also cool with me. Just let it happen in a more fluent way than the last two times :)

Lofwyr starting his war of liberation on dragon terrorized Geneva leaves me with mixed feelings. Even tough I still don't dig the '50k people omnomnomed by dragons without the public knowing' I do think the idea of a whole ghetto city beeing under the martial law of a marauding band of dragons is an incredibly cool setting to play in. Therefore I'm on one hand pumped for how Lofwyr and buddies will handle Alamais (or the other way around) and on the other hand I'm afraid that there goes a hotspot that wasn't given nearly enough attention in the books.

On the MHVV (metahuman vampire virus? I always get it mixed up with the german MMVV  :-\ ) front  I am pretty much clueless why the infected suddenly start to develope this additionaly/aggravated facets of their condition. Please don't let it be another kind of magic rush to raise the magic level to new heights. If we keep going like that I fell that we reach the magic peak in about 150 years or so :D

Overall I really enjoyed the puzzling together and reading of the different short stories. There were only one or two that didn't really do much for me. I guess thats mostly cuz I just didn't have (or didn't remember) the information from the books to make the respective connections.

You know, all these magic spikes are starting to make it look an awful lot like that was someone's plan...  If the Dragons and IE's could survive this long to plan against the Horrors, no reason Corrupted people serving the Horrors could have done the opposite.

And founded/gained control of Aztechnology.
