Mages do become dual natured when assensing and need to switch between "normal" and astral sight. My point was that that's because, well... they're "normal" first and magical second, in a way. Astral sight's not their natural thing.
For dual natured beings this isn't the case, astral is part of their "normal".
Of course... spirits -could- be the other end of the equation. To them their "normal" IS astral... so they may have to turn on anti-assensing or something and end up acting exactly like mages, only opposite!

Blah, you know what I'm saying? Been enjoying the weather on my balcony with a bottle of wine... too much wine and too little sleep might make my incoherent :p

How does astral communication work? Can Cinder talk to Alex from where he is? Does the lamp speak also or can he just talk over astral? If just astral, can he be heard over the 'distance' (we're like 15m away from each other?), can others hear... etc etc.

Until further notice, the ruling is, that you can communicate silently, but need to have astral perception on.
Of course any other astral being nearby will hear.

There is a spell, I think for telepathic communication, that would be sniffer-proof.

Sorry, for a small delay.

There is quite a few of people that are awaken here. Some of them might be astrally percepting. (most notably the girl and here older friend). You notice that people with a gift to astrally perceive flicker into dual being once in a while. It's as natural to them as closing their eyes once in minute.

They're clearing out though so you comment might gone unnoticed.
