>>>>>[Nothing to kick off the weekend like a bit of 'housekeeping'. And by that, I mean 'killing these bastards who were trying to follow me'. Seems they got the idea after seeing me leave a jeweler's under my legit SIN while I was picking up a gift for Xerena. With all the cunning one might expect of Humanis goons, they got the woman to try and lure me into an alley for a quickie, where her 'friends' were waiting for me. I think they were under the impression that the sword was just for show. Two of them are feeling much lighter now, with the useless weight above their shoulders removed. Two others are down, but still alive. Maybe they'll even wake up before the van that just loaded them up gets to the 'processing center'. Hm? Oh yeah, lady, those were ghouls, and yes, they were Tamanous, and yes, your buddies are ghoul chow. Now shut up, I'm talking here.
Where was I? Oh yes, the woman is currently tied up but alive. And she's going to stay that way, for now. A contact in Tarislar heard that his sister had been 'recruited' to work in a bunraku parlor downtown. So I worked out a trade. The lady listening to me in growing horror is going to be a bunraku girl, my contact gets his sister back, and we all keep quiet on this, so the gumi doesn't lose face with the Puyallup crowd while they're trying to grow their presence. Oh, and I'm going to do a job for the gumi to keep all things square. Nothing much, just escorting a daughter of one of the clan's members to a concert in Denver. Yes, they have their own people for bodyguard duty, but she is technically a 'civilian', and sending clan members with a civilian into another clan's territory usually takes a great deal of negotiation. Its an honor and respect kind of thing. With this, no one loses face. Yak politics are almost as twisted as corp politics.]<<<<<
