Indeed, it is an Earthdawn book. The idea of wizard's robes and other such things is definitely something that I would love to see brought into SR. And having the concept be rediscovered and reverse engineered from things found in the Deep Lacuna allows for a perfect way to bring them in, without having one of the dragons or immortal elves completely break character and start sharing everything they know.
