I am my own worst enemy. I've become the guy who posts reviews to his own work. It's a
very nice 4-star review of ARN on DriveThru. He wasn't as enamored of the art as I am, but everyone has different tastes there, I suppose. I thought the art rocked, myself.
AJ: I have no idea what numbers go into the tiers at DriveThru. They're set up like coinage in AD&D, though, at Copper, Silver, Electrum, Gold, and Platinum. ARN hit Copper sometime during the night, which makes me feel better. By way of comparison,
Way of the Adept is firmly Gold and is probably approaching Platinum; it's easily the best-selling PDF-only title the line's seen, period. The other example of enhanced fiction,
99 Bottles, is Silver. That's sorta going to be my benchmark; I'll be very curious about the numbers ARN sells in its first month compared to the same period for
99 Bottles. And those numbers will obviously include the CGL direct numbers, so I don't actually care where you bought it. I'm just happy you did.
Viking: Glad you enjoyed it. The piece I'm working on now is more or less unrelated to ARN, except that there might be some character's from ARN mentioned. No actual crossover...this time...though all my stories are related to each other, so it could happen at any time. After that's done, I should have a better idea of where to go next with Thomas and Lydia.
