Nothing says:  "Do what I say or I sick my lawyer on you" as having a Troll Lawyer!
Werewolf and Vampire Lawyers that the Iron Druid Atticus O’Sullivan has, might do  8)
"An it harm none, do what you will"

Cyberlimb armor question.

I get the average attributes are cyberlimb + uncybered limbs / 5. Rounded down.

What about armor? If I have a single cyberarm with Armor 2 and a leather jacket, what would my total armor be??
2/2 and 4 against called shots vs. the arm or should it be (4x0+2)/5 = 0,4 => 0 + leather armor for 2/2 or is it 4/4 because it just stacks?
And if it just stacks would a character with 5 cyberlimbs with armor 3 in each have an armor rating of 15+ worn armor??

I'm confused...

What about armor?
Armor is no Attribute
You just add the Cyberarmor to worn Armor .
Cyberarmor does NOT encumber

Yes,but it would also mean there is only 0,5 Essence left over ;)

Just picture your character holding your cyberarm in front of your sensitive and delicate flesh and it makes sense.

Most GM's will smack you if you put armor on hands or feet. Some GM's will smack you if you put armor on lower arms or lower legs. A few GMs will smack you if you put armor on full limbs.

At the point where you're getting really huge amounts of armor like 15/15 from it, it means that your body is mostly metal and you have a few squishy bits.

At which point you don't even look Metahuman any longer, and may even begin to wonder where the metal ends and the person begins.

...

Maybe.

Exactly my point.  ;D  Glad it got across.

So I'm liking having just one limb. But I have to ask what advantageous come with multiple cyberlimbs? I tried it and found I barely had enough essence to fit other things in.

Thanks guys  ;D
It makes sense.

Remind me to run when the cyberzombie enters the fray "You say my bullets just bounces of his armor as they where flies?"

What about Skinlinked cyberlimbs?
Can you just pay 50Y and then it can't be hacked?
But then what about actions to control the limb? And for that matter is it nesesary to have an smartgun link installed in a cyberlimb to get the full advantages of your weapon connection??

What ?  :o  :)
You don't need to Skinlink them.
Just switch WiFi off (or get it removed completely)and use them only via DNI !!

not at all you just need a Smartlinked Weapon and the Eyeware (& Imagelink which is a prerequisite for Smart)
a Smartpad and Wires in Your Arm is sooooo SR2/3.... ::)

He who Dances without WiFi  !

Ok thanks again.
I was just unsure how much headware was needed to get all the advantages of cyberlimbs and smartgun links.

WiFi off it is  ;)

I know that the Cyberscanners in SR4A are pretty uber - I'm just curious as to how they work without seriously irradiating your target.

You assume that they don't irradiate the target why? It's Shadowrun! Life is cheap!

I work the armor from cyberlimbs as armor only for that section, so a called shot to a given spot only uses the armor for that spot. Of course, I removed called shots to ignore armor. I use called shots to hit specific parts, based on size and mobility of that part. I also use called shots for damage, but my variant is -2 dice per +1 DV, so headshots are at 8 dice and +4 DV, and all unimportant NPCs insta die from a headshot doing at least 1 damage. But that's just me...Better get that cyberskull, folks!
