Something tragic that makes me oddly think of Shadowrun...
There's a restaurant/bar where my colleagues and I go regularly for lunch, usually once a week.
Two days ago, a guy came in with a gun and shot another client in the face. Something to do with drug trafficking.
We were not eating there that day, fortunately.
I live in France, where that kind of stuff doesn't usually happen, especially in that neighbourhood. So this feels a bit too close to home for my taste...

I was watching the last season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, and some episodes feature characters investigating in the very Blade Runner-esque streets of Coruscant. They are looking for a terrorist who had a poor guy ingest some nano-machines that turned him into a living bomb. Combined with the "neo noir" atmosphere of the episode, I felt it's something that would have been right at home in Shadowrun.
