Guys, this is my standard question.
I appreciate it very much that after all you want to play again with me, that an honor :)

To summarise my lessons learnt from this game is to reduce number of players, even if this means some missing roles. speed up the planning/legwork possibly by the use of gtalk/skype and try to introduce npc leader to keep the planning in the IC as well as moderate the discussion if needed. I don't know if the last point will make it to the game but i keep to that idea.

I got a feeling some of my descriptions weren't clear, I try to work on that with pictures, I am not sure how succesful.

If there is anything you'd like to have changed in the gm'ing style I use, something you're irritated about, something that would increase the fun you get form te game, let me know. As you might have noticed I award karma for things I appreciate, so you could see the way I like you to act, which is not always IC related. Sick sense of humour OOC is good as well. Give me some feedback, here or in PM however you prefer.

once again. thanks for a game

NPC leader would have very hard work here...and may screw the game, I tell you what I feel. Everyone of us take his own lesson, so it may show on the next run. some NPC bitching around would destroy the possibility for some characters/players to grow. IMHO

As for feedback:

I enjoyed your way of dealing with things, Sent. In fact, I really appreciated the pace your narrative followed most of the time (and we know that GMing is no easy task); most times when things seemed to escape or slow down you acted in ways to prevent it, and if not all were successful attempts, most were. All in all, I also liked the way you handled situations that got tense, IC and OOC.
I agree that we were a too huge group to coordinate well, and that resulted in a dispersion that permeated the entire run. But I don't like the idea of a npc leading the team: I play another two Shadowrun games in other forums where this is the situation, and the sensation I got is that it trims the freedom of  the characters out. Maybe you can handle it better than the situations I've seen so far, but even so, I am not a fan to the idea.

On character improvement:

Fractal has now 16 Karma to spend, and that's my thought so far:

The mission was an infiltration attempt, and Sam shinned there. Fractal studied his art, and 4 Karma would go in raising his Infiltration Skill from 1 to 2. If possibli, another 2 Karma would go into buying a Urban specialization to the same skill.

Fractal also had a nice chance to develop his social interaction skills in ways he never trained before. The psychological torture season tells me that 4 Karma points would go in buying the first point in Intimidation. Also, he got lucky too many times in matrix combat situations, and spending another 4 Karma to buy the first dot in cybercombat seems reasonable. That would leave me with 2 Karma dots still to spend.

The book is not that clear if it's possible to raise so many skills at the same time. It does recommend the GM not to allow it, but how are you judging the matter, Sent?

Sent. As I've said in the past its a game. A game I get the priveldge to play with people of a different culture from my own. I think as a Dm of pathfinder, here in good ol Texas of the U.S.A that NPCing  a leader is appealing to a GM, but not too players. I've treid this and have failed, this was a good run. But honestly we got away with some stuff we shouldn't have. I should not be able to comunicate in astral, although I did like it. I felt that in the last run you were a little harsh at times and that you compensated by being a little too lax in this run. I would like to see something in the middle. Don't be afraid to piss us off, it happens and if players can't deal with it. Get some more. GM the game as you see fit. ITS YOUR GAME, YOUR WORLD, YOUR RULES. As far as what I think, I'm signing up for a third term. That should tell you something.

Not sure the Leader would be good, a npc with witch you can control us on the other hand would do good.
the prob we had was not lack of ideas or leadership in fulfilling the orders stuff like that, but we had a lot of different ideas where to go what to do, and how, we are different so most of us thing different it is clearly seen in the cultures in EU. so one NPC who has the say would not be a good idea as it would limit our capabilities and the flow of ideas.
A NPC who would summarise hint on something we have forgotten or a aspect we where not thinking about would do wonders

note of absence for a few days while travelling. still wondering how you cope with Robot defences on your hand-held sent, mine blocks 90% of prepared posts, maybe to long my guess.

secondly, does the end post sums up all the karma or is the separate from the middle of the game still separate?

It is on top of what you got in the middle.

As of the robot defense I think it is the matter of hot spot not the post. I am browsing from blackberry and I haven't any problems at all.

You guys ready with that loot splitting?

I need updated cards, and info what you do during the couple of days before next run. (you ended on Friday, next run will start on Thursday next week, so you got 6 days for do-nothing, working on contacts, training or undergoing surgeries with the streetdocs)

As of the robot defense I think it is the matter of hot spot not the post. I am browsing from blackberry and I haven't any problems at all.

That's the problem then while I am travelling I just have to change the hotspots, while i am at home/work I can use a stationary PC.

The mission was an infiltration attempt, and Sam shinned there. Fractal studied his art, and 4 Karma would go in raising his Infiltration Skill from 1 to 2. If possibli, another 2 Karma would go into buying a Urban specialization to the same skill.
I think you can't increase a skill and get a specialisation on it only one of them, but if you can I would like to use it too, so I hold up my upgrade posting until you answer this.

Done :)
I think I've responded to all.

if there is anything I've omitted that you want me comment upon, let me know.

Now. We've hopefully passed over that painfully long planning stage. The base for current events is 4 Karma for each of you. Sichr, Kour and Netz get additional 2 points of Karma for impressive activity.

6 for you

You can always get specialization provided you have karma. So the answer is yes you can increase a skill and get a specialization.
