I don't think "fireballing a town" does the Sears Tower attack justice. According to Feral Cities, the attack claimed the lives of 26,000 citizens and turned the Loop in Chicago into such a mess that it was never rebuilt. (Which is ridiculous that they'd never rebuild, but I digress.) That causality count beat the 20,000 from Los Alamos that they derived their name from, and was particularly despicable because the people killed had nothing to do with anything... it was just an attempt to frame metahumans for an atrocity. (And it also shows that they started drifting from the original "mission" pretty fast when they didn't try to blame the NAN.)
