Another week, another product! We have a new release (in part because it seems that many of you do not consider the new movie to be an actual release) that's on sale now in PDF and print pre-order form! If you read Attitude, maybe you saw the blurb about singer Christy Daee and her mysterious death. Want to learn the truth about what happened? A Fistful of Credsticks is waiting for you at the Battleshop and DrivethruRPG. Here's some back cover copy to further inform you:

Fame, Fortune, and Felonies

Nothing’s as simple as it seems—any runner knows that. So what seems like a simple job guarding some precious cargo on the set of a trideo shoot is bound to get complicated. And it does—but are you ready to travel the full length the long, twisted road ahead?

A Fistful of Credsticks begins a new series of adventures centered on the machinations of the Horizon Corporation. Runners will learn more about the dark side of Horizon, leading to future developments that could change the shape of the entire corporation. Runners that see this adventure to the finish will encounter trideo makers, music celebrities, showbiz leeches, some gang members bent on fame, and a very peculiar corporate experiment.

A Fistful of Credsticks is for use with Shadowrun, Twentieth Anniversary Edition.

Does anyone know where this adventure is set? Seattle? NYC? so on? or is it set in a cross country and continent style?

Thanks,

Begins in Seattle, then moves to LA. It could bring people from other towns to LA, too.

So what's next?  "A Few Credsticks More"?  "The Good, The Bad, and The Shadowrunners"?  "Once upon a time in a Shadowrun"?  "Last 'Runner Standing"?  "Yojimbo Q. Wageslave"?

Wouldn't be bad, would it? But no.

OK, serious question time now.  (I know!   :o )

Are these PDF E-Releases only, or are they also going to come out in Dead Tree Format?

The whole series will be coming out in dead tree.

i only buy in dead tree, keeps me from losing them if my comp goes down like it has a tendancy to do sometimes, (ok always which is why i keep most things offline) is there any chance that the SRM packs will ever be released dead tree?

We don't currently have a plan to release SRMs as dead tree, but we plan to do an experiment with a print bundle of some PDF-only products. If that works well, I'd cheerfully consider a SRM book.

You can make your own Dead Tree Format of PDFs if you're insane like I am, and willing to use the ink/toner, paper, sheet condoms, and a binder.  :P

I've been pushing for this :)  Ideally, I would love to take the Season 4.0 (Missions 00 through 12) and release them in two bundles...  One with the Artifact Rush plotline adventures, and one with the Buried Underground plotline.

We couldn't likely do the full thing as a single book, unfortunately, because the Missions have been clocking i over 30 pages each :)  Even cutting out the duplicated stuff (The Boilerplate stuff at the beginning and end) would still only drop them a few pages.  Though a 300 page Missions Campaign Book does make me smile.

So yeah, if you want to see the Missions adventures bundled up in hardcopy, keep telling Jason about it! :)
