I'm getting ready to run a new campeign and was looking through the matrix urban legends in Unwired.

I was wondering what would happen if they found the chip for the Black Chip Killer, and in order to access it, the go to get a data jack implant, and the surgen secretly inserts a sleep regulator and another personality.

Does anyone have any idea?

If you're a GM and asking the question: 'What would happen?'

Then the answer is:

'What do you want to happen?'

'Too much is never enough'

Yes, but I'm looking for something reasonable that would happen.
With me in control, people will just die.
There are usually plenty of un-necessary explosions involved.

I mostly need ideas.

Possible Ideas:
  • PC goes full psycho, but has no recollection of events
  • PC has strange dreams of conversations and people, then meets these people in the street
  • PC hears voices (audible only to them] telling them to do any number of things
  • PC links into the infamous Exchange, which gives AR advice and requirements for favours

Any of the above slowly escalates into more and more carnage, Will Comrades notice what's going on?

I have some ideas, but the reply is... involved(long). So if you could answer a few questions about your planned game so I can make my answer more succinct, I would appreciate it.

A)Who are they?
2)Who is your audience for this adventure? By that I mean what are your player's skill levels, age & gender, what do they like and dislike in a game, that sort of thing.
D)What type of story are you trying to tell?

Thank you, and enjoy the obscure John Hughes reference.
O, proud Death, What feast is toward thine eternal cell, That thou so many princes at a shot So bloodily hast struck?
