I pulled out of a game because the posting was too fast for me to follow, but it is still active and I don't want it to keep appearing when I check for new posts in threads I follow.

Go to your Profile. On the left will be a section called "Modify Profile"; select "Notifications" and you should get a list of all the threads your subscribed to. You can the modify/remove as needed.

Nope, no list I can see.

Well, that's just plan bizarre...see it in mine, no problem. I went to a topic that I'm subscribed to...at the bottom was a button labelled "UNNOTIFY"...can you see something similar?

I see the place where the list is, but it is empty.  I have never subscribed to any lists, I just post in a thread and from then on I get a notification when a new post is added by clicking on "Show new replies to your posts." at the top of the page.
