So it seems this has a Ruthenium Polymer Coating (Rating 3) which gives
The base modifier to a Perception Test to spot the wearer is –(Rating),
adjusted by the extent of the suit; full +2, almost full +1, half +0.
so would it be considered almost full?

I guess this ruling (full, almost full, half) is related to how much of your body is covered by the Ruthenium Polymere. F.e. if you wear a body suit with it and a helmet without i would consider it "almost full". If you wear a dress with it and a coat without i would say it is "half". Ruleswise - as the Sleeping Tiger armor is custom fit and can't be extended by more non-custom fit armor - i would say it is a full body armor, so the covering would be "full". But this is only how i would handle it.

I envision it as a normal business suit (pants, shirt, jacket) so HALF coverage. My GM and I agreed that I could use 1 hardpoint/modification slot on the suit to add sewn gloves and a head hoodie to make it full when I need it to be full coverage.

That description is so varied,  it really needs a picture.

As I'm reading it, I don't see it as a "Suit" for Business in the office.

It almost seems like its club ware, nice stuff but with street edge to it.

I mean, combining an "Executive" look with "Chain Link Belts & Wire Mesh Cuffs" ?

That certainly leaves room for a lot of variety there.

Seems like the kind of thing a Troll bodyguard might wear for an exec out on the town.

Yeah, thought exactly the same. In the end the description does not describe the look of the armor. Maybe CGL wanted to leave a lot of room for ideas and interpretation, but on the other hand you really don't know what is exactly included, how certain groups of people react to it, etc. Rather non-helpful, i would say.

@Anchoress - you can either leave it up in the air, house rule it, or use the description from 3e, which is already in this thread. ;)
@Tarislar - if it's acceptable for trogs to wear it when they want to rise up the corporate ladder, then I think it's possible we have a perspective of low rank corporate dress that's too conservative for the 50s, 60s & 70s.

A lot of what you're given in the description simply modifies the base idea of the Sleeping Tiger line - start corporate business suit, then bring it down to the streets for trogs. If you mash it all together however you can, then I think you'll get the look.

I tend to see Sleeping TIger as having a lot of quasi-military fashion along with a bit of 'toughness'.  IMO, none of Novocrane's images really hit the mark.  Do a websearch on 'chainmail fashion', and see the variance that can be found in actual modern fashion.  I personally would say a blend of these:

/shrug

Can't see wire mesh, pvc / latex, chains, power ties, etc on yours, TWO. They're explicit details from 3e Sleeping Tiger.

By the same guy that did your 2nd pic. I'd say it's closer, but still missing details.

You aren't likely to get anything that's specifically got everything, Novocrane.  It's the style we're looking for.  That said, yeah, that's a good one; I'd definitely consider it to be Sleeping Tiger or something close.

I wouldn't expect all of it, but aside from vaguely resembling a suit, it didn't have any of it. ;)
