So as many have pointed out there is a lot of missing artwork for gear in the SR5 core book and run and gun.  Is there any source of the missing artwork? (aside from paying for a book I can't read ie the german versions of the books)

Google helps a lot. Many diagrams of the carries weapons can be found this way.
Sadly I'm still without a proper picture of the Ruger Thunderbolt :/
If Tom Brady’s a Spike Baby, what does that make Brees and Rodgers?

I know of at least two images of the Ruger Thunderbiolt, one was in the old Lone Star sourcebook, the other in the german "Arsenal" (which was, while technically official, "just" fan artwork).
GMTool - PreAlpha released (also on SourceForge)

I own the Lone Star book but do not feel that that rendering is good in any way.
If someone would post a picture from Arsenal (german version) then I would be most thankful

A little dated, but I've always used this as a go to:

My SR Gun Collection part 2

You might also want to check out Andreas Schroth's SR gallery...he does a lot of work for both CGL and Pegasus Press.

There is a cop holding one in the SR3 book "New Seattle".

From the looks of it, its almost identical to the #11 image in AJ's picture above.

I did find this online:

Ruger Thunderbolt

The artist indicates that it was for "Shadowrun Online", but not how "official" I would consider it.

Not according the the books SR1, SR1-StSamGuide, & New Seattle.
Based on those three....
Predator = Not shown
#11 = Thunderbolt
#12 = Predator-II

What is your source?

As an old-time grognard, let me assure you, #11 is the Ares Predator. It was deliberately designed to look like RoboCop's gun from the real RoboCop back in the day.

EDIT: Check out page 238 in the SR2 core rulebook.
