Haven't spent much time perusing Life Modules though I do like the concept.  May try to throw together a character later.

Quick question - Point buy explicitly states that the one stat at max rule still applies, and the Life Module says that after you have bought all your modules the fine tuning follows the point buy model. So I am assuming that you can still only have one maxed stat, even if the modules max more than one before exiting that portion of chargen. Anyone sure one way or the other? Point being, if I want to make a pixie (yes, I'm going there), one point of ether BOD or STR maxes those stats and then locks me out of maxing any other stat (like AGI). Means navigating the modules is like navigating a mine field where picking the wrong one breaks quite a few things (like some of them add both STR and BOD, maxing two stats).

Still wrapping my head around the Life Modules, like it a lot, but it's definitely a challenge.

Yep. I just focused on getting to Magic 6 and Conjuring/Sorcery 6 at first. However, it tneds to leave your attributes and other skills a little dry.

Quick Question: Would Positive qualities cost the listed amount for chargen, or the double for new qualities?

dont worry so much about optimizing it just perfect. These are milk runs after all.

So I'm currently AFB and haven't had the chance to look deeply into the chargen but I remember seeing the automatic negative qualities from certain backgrounds have to be "bought off" with post module karma.  If you have two modules that give the same negative quality (say Criminal SIN) do you have to buy both off to make it go away?  Do you gain additional negatives if you don't buy it off?

Just running off of memory here and I may have glossed over when skimming but yeah...

SINs- you just take whichever is higher and then buy it off.
Negative qualities- You DO NOT have to pay double to buy them off, just what they're worth. If you wanna buy em off AFTER char gen, THEN it's double.

If you get two of the same quality and it can be ranked up, you just rank it up once every time you get it.

@Poindexter: Would you be wlling to accept Initiation during chargen? Also, do we get contact points and knolwedge skill points as normal, or do those need to be purchased with karma as well?
