New release available at BattleCorp and DTRPG:

Quote
Shadowrun: Shadows in Focus: Cheyenne (PDF)
[E-CAT26S043]   $7.99

The Minefield of Opportunity

The number of ways you can step wrong in Cheyenne are higher than a lot of shadowrunners can count. There are political, ethnic, tribal, and racial divides, and stepping on the wrong side of them can not only end your job prospects, but it can put you in a hastily dug hole in the ground. Move quickly and be agile, though, and you can slip through the snares that trip up lesser runners, accumulating the street rep and nuyen that will put you at the top of the runner heap.

Cheyenne is the second book in the Shadows in Focus: Sioux Nation series, providing details about a Sixth World location steeped in tradition, conflict, and both technological and Awakened dangers. With location details, information on power players, and more, Cheyenne will help flesh out the Shadowrun setting for players and build adventures and campaigns for gamemasters.

Cheyenne is for use with Shadowrun, Fifth Edition.

Nice!  I will check this out later.  I love the idea of these Shadows in Focus books.  I'd love to see the pricepoint down to a flat $5, just because that translates well in my head.  But $7.99 for a pile of fluff is totally worthwhile.

Aye, it is pretty much all fluff, but very good information all around so far.

Plenty of flavour here and fertile ground for Run ideas thanks to the level of tribal in-fighting and corruption that abounds.

Do you believe in a greater WIRELESS, an Invisible(WiFi) All Seeing(detecting those connected- at least if within 100'), All Knowing(all online data) Presence that we can draw upon for Wisdom(downloads & updates), Strength (wifi boni) and Comfort (porn) or do you turn your back on it  (Go Offline)?

Seems like a missed opportunity to expand on the life modules, though on the flip side i guess they can get us more content when they dont have to worry about rules and only on cool stories

I had high hopes Catalyst would support the Life Module system more. It seems they're going to waste this one. Unfortunately. There was more support on that in the BT rpg.

This was first teased ages ago, back in Gun H(e)aven 3 and Coyotes.  The pipelines are separate, but I wouldn't be at all surprised if this was written before the Life Module chapter.

True true, there is also the fact too that the NAN already has a few life mods in Run Faster. It's when we start getting to Amazonia and outside of North America in general where i will want to see some official life mods :)

You'll be seeing life modules in the future. This product dates back to prior to that system even being an outline. It takes time folks and we want to get cool stuff out for you to enjoy.

Agreed. This looks like a 'training wheels' edition, that you can use to introduce someone to the setting, and then shift over to something like 5E or 4E. Like how D&D 5E is best used as training wheels for D&D 3.X.

Love the text, but I really miss a map of the city. Would have been very helpful.

Love the text, but I really miss a map of the city. Would have been very helpful.
Considering the population jumped from current population  of 60,000 (59,466 at the 2010 census) to 2.9 million it is probably safe to say they had a wee bit of population explosion (memories of the Tir and its elf explosion anyone?) so any map is probably getting a massive overhaul.

They did give some addresses in the locales in the back, and the two towers for the chiefs and elders where the old us government buildings were  gives a few starting points to work from at least.
