Running the opposite direction from Ace would take you toward the Tata. If you want to get an angle on the Bulldog's driver you could run west/northwest (toward Wolf, or splitting the angle between Ace and Wolf) to try and shoot the driver from behind-left.

There would be a -2 modifier for running; there is no good cover this IP. This would leave Sam exposed to the troll standing at the Tata.

Next IP you could either hop the railing on the side of the road for Partial Cover, or tuck yourself against the left side of the Bulldog.  The elven female is not openly carrying a weapon and does not appear to be much of a threat.

You couldn't get a shot off this IP by running along the east side of the RV. The RV is 10 meters long and Sam is maybe 2-3 meters behind the RV. Sam's running rate is 9/meter per IP (18 per Combat Turn), so he couldn't cover the necessary distance to get a shot off without  Sprinting, but that would be a Complex Action and wouldn't leave a Simple action to shoot.

The east side of the RV is also exposed to the troll at the Tata.

Those offset each other. Then one of the following:

-1 walking
-2 running

You don't need to run to get to the end of the RV by the next IP, but running does give you a defensive bonus against ranged attacks and indirect spells. However, running will also impose a -2 modifier on shots taken in IP2, since once you're running you're running until the end of the Combat Turn (p. 162).

Yes, that is what I was trying to say. Walking can get you to the north edge of the RV during IP2, so you would have LOS on the Bulldog then.

That's some fancy shooting. 7 hits of APDS is enough to ruin anybody's day.

Troll dodge = Reaction + Intuition + Combat Sense + Good Cover - Long Burst - Wound Modifier: 1 hit, ow ow ow
Base DV is 9P -6AP, staged up to 15P with net hits.

Troll soaking 15P
Body + Natural Dermals + Armor Jacket - APDS: 4 hits
The troll's armor (modified by AP) does not exceed the damage code so the damage is Physical. Final tally is 11P.

Damage exceeds Physical limit so the troll is knocked down. However, trolls being trolls, he is not in Overflow yet and is still conscious. That said, the troll has suffered massive internal injuries and, per Bullets & Bandages, will incur an extra 1P every (Body) Combat Turns until stabilized. Death counts as stabilization.

@Poindexter Go ahead and IC post your troll-on-troll violence.
@Malevolence You can IC post Wolf's use of Fear and the ork samurai hightailing it for the hills.

Whew, busy day today. Let's knock out a few actions.

Still no sign of 8-bit. Let's have him Tae Kwon Do this spirit into confetti.

Chino
Attack: Agility 4 + Unarmed 6 + Specialization 2 - 3 wounds: 3 hits
Spirit dodge: Reaction 6 + Intuition 3 - 4 exposure to Severe allergen - 1 Reach (Chino's Kick Attack): 1 hit

Damage is Strength 9 + Bone Density 3 + Spirit Claw 3 + Net Hits 2 = 17P
The spirit doesn't have enough Body to soak this down to a survivable range but let's roll anyway to see how explosively it dies: 0 hits. Very explosively.

Katsina
Simple: Stand Up (finally)
Simple: Ready Weapon (Claymore)
Free: Speak + Ready Weapon (throwing knife, Free because her Lined Coat has Gear Access)

Katsina is injured so standing is a Body + Willpower (2) test: 4 hits

Katsina is grabbing her Increase Strength preparation.

Katsina has Strength 4 (7) for the next 4 minutes.

I'm now playing Sam's penalty from the composure roll as confusion and self doubt over his sudden change of tactics. Is that cool? How long do the effects of this spell last anyways?
Also, the spelled out translation of that is, "Очень скоро теперь , мы все собираемся , чтобы узнать ответы на очень многих тайн !"
And the english is, "Very soon now, we're all going to learn the answers to a great many mysteries!"

The spell lasts for minutes = net hits, so 3 minutes in this case.

Sam can make additional Logic + Willpower - Force tests to shake off the spell when "confronted with the wrongness of the suggestion." Whether Sam would consider the suggestion "wrong" is up for discussion. (Sam would only be rolling 1 die right now, but that will be back up to 3 shortly when the Composure effects of the crash have worn off. Hits chip away at the net hits of the spell.)

Confusion and self-doubt work great for me.
