Shots kicked plaster out of the wall, millimetres away from stake's avatar, the compression waves realistically rendered as they pummeled his ears as the "bullets" whipped past his "head".
Stake did a good job of keeping moving, the heat of the explosion singing his hair as the debris pelted his armoured jacket.
Things had escalated far too quickly and it was only his lightning reflexes keeping him in the fight...

OOC; dodge roll, REA 7 : 7d6t5 2 2 hits, dodged.

With the gunfighter rushing on an intercept course whilst dodging Boris's grenade, there wasn't much more to do, his bullets barely dented his armour and Boris's grenades would dumpshock them both.
He summoned the fichetti back into its slide and with a rehearsed motion, drew his sword, whirling around in a delicate arc as he unsheathed it and ended the motion with a vicious strike.

Quote
Free: retract hidden arm slide
Simple: charge/run
Simple: Iajustu sword attack
iajutsu sword attack: 20d6t5 5 5 hits, katana.
EDIT; forgot the charge bonus but it didnt help charge bonus: 2d6t5 0

OOC:  Defense 11 + Wound -1 = (10d6.hits(5)=4).  9P incoming -3AP.
    Soak 16 + AP-3 = (13d6.hits(5)=6).  Takes 3S.

Boris's turn to take his 2nd IP action.   The bad guys are out of actions so Stake and Boris can act 1 more time each after that for the 3rd IP and then roll initiative for the 2nd Combat turn.

@Stake:
Your blade strikes him square in the chest and slices through his grey poncho but bounces off his armor underneath.  You hear him gasp because the blow is strong enough to wind him.

IP2, CT1:  Stake-17, Boris-12, Lt.-0, M5-0, M6-0
Wounds: M5{9P}, M6{9P}, Lt.{3S,3S}
Edge: Stake-3/3, Boris 5/5

Mean Boris takes a look at the ensuing chaos with calm satisfaction. He flips the heavy wooden table away from him onto its edge, providing him with some well-placed cover. The massive minotaur flips the table as though it was a child's toy. Glasses, salt and pepper shakers, and other barware clatter to the floor. In a single motion he draws his Ruger Super Warhawks from his shoulder holster and shoots at the nearest of the heavily wounded men, letting his companion engage their leader for the time being. The smartlink immediately links with the new weapon via his wireless PAN, showing him the exact place to shoot for a clean shot to the upper torso, neck, or head.

Simple action: flip table
Free action: switch wireless mode on PAN / smartlink
Simple action: quick-draw and shoot pistol at "M5"

Quick-draw [3]: Rea(7)+Pistols(7) (14d6.hits(5)=4) quick-draw successful

Shoot pistol: Agi(8)+Pistols(7)+Smartlink(2) [acc:7] (17d6.hits(5)=6)

Ruger Super Warhawk w/ APDS ammo: Base dam 9P, AP -6

OOC: Defense 7 + Wound -2 = (5d6.hits(5)=2).  13P incoming, -6AP.   Soak 16 + AP -6 = (10d6.hits(5)=1).  Takes 12P, M5 dead.

Now Stake and Boris can both take their 3rd IP actions and also roll for init for 2nd CT.

Mean Boris cuts loose with his hand-cannon and the throat explodes on one of the two downed militants who are slowly getting up off the floor.

IP2, CT1:  Stake-7, Boris-2, Lt.-0, M6-0
Wounds: M6{9P}, Lt.{3S,3S}
Edge: Stake-3/3, Boris 5/5

Mean Boris calmly aims his huge Ruger at the other survivor of the grenade attack. He lines up his shot and pulls the trigger. The big minotaur shows absolutely no emotion, the earlier rage replaced with a zen-like calm, a model of efficiency as he executes the remaining grunt.

Shoot pistol: Agi(8)+Pistols(7)+Smartlink(2) [acc:7] (17d6.hits(5)=7)

He swings his riot shield into place and readies himself for additional fighting.

Simple action: shoot "M6"
Simple action: ready riot shield

Ruger Super Warhawk w/ APDS ammo: Base dam 9P, AP -6

Initiative: 3d6+12 (3d6=11) Initiative=23

OOC:  Lt. against Stake's attack:   Defense 11 + Wound -2 = (9d6.hits(5)=1).  Incoming 13P.  Soak 16 + AP -2 = (13d6.hits(5)=5).  Lt. takes 8P.

 Defense 7 + Wound -2 = (5d6.hits(5)=3).  13P incoming, AP -6.  Soak 16 + AP -6 = (10d6.hits(5)=4).  Takes 9P.   Last militant dead.

Lt. init 7 + 1d6=3 = 10.  Spends point of Edge to go first.  Attack 12 + Wound -4 + In melee -3 + Edge 3 = (8d6.hits(5)=0).  Totally wiffs it.
Take your turns both of you.

Boris aims a little to the right of his first target and quickly finishes off the second living militant.

Stake's katana suddenly sizzles with dancing arcs of electric current and he whirls it around impaling the Lt. shoulder and then pulling it out of the wound in order to swing it again.  The Lt. falls to the floor clutching the bleeding wound and tries to line up his AK to make a desperate shot at his assailant.  The muzzle flares with auto-fire but the rounds just thump into the ceiling shaking down dust over your heads.

IP1, CT2:  Boris-23, Stake-17, Lt.-10
Wounds: M6{9P}, Lt.{3S,3S}
Edge: Stake-3/3, Boris 5/5

Mean Boris spins around to face the other people in the room, his riot shield raised and his gleaming chrome hand cannon at the ready. His wired reflexes were pushed to the max as he looks to the rest of the people, trying to determine if any of them present an additional threat. Especially the waitress.

Our samurai has their leader covered. But something's not right. I get the feeling that they were simply a distraction.

[IP1, CT2: Delay Action until immediately after Stake takes his turn. If the lieutenant is killed and nobody else in the room takes any action, Boris will perform a Simple Action: Observe in Detail using his ultrasound visor on everyone else in the room. He'll declare his other Simple Action after he gets the result of the scan.]

His blow finally bursts through his attackers armour, drawing "blood" and lots of it.
The force of the attack knocked the simulation backwards, clearly hurting from Stake's onslaught.
He drew back into a ready stance and taunted his badly wounded opponent.
Ready to talk yet?

The militant ring-leader looks up at the both of you from his kneeling position, clutching his shoulder.  His grimace slowly twists into a tense grin and speaks to you in perfect English through clenched teeth.

"You really don't know when to give up do you?  Now that you've followed Requiem all the way to his abode what did you think would happen?  I don't know who's paying you or what you expect to get out of all this other than the farm the both of you are about to buy, but looks like your last shadowrun is just about to come to an end."

He looks toward the entrance and suddenly you feel the ground shake with the strength of a small tremor as something very large moves outside.

Mean Boris casually swings his arm back and shoots the remaining militant squarely in the head. He reloads his pistol, puts it in his shoulder holster and walks to the wall nearest the sounds coming from outside. He leans over and peers through the window, cycling through his vision options to get the best view as to what they're dealing with.

@Boris:
With your glance out the entrance you see something that makes your breath catch in your throat.  A giant hulking giant with vicious augmentations approaches at about 30 meters.  He is being led by a neck chain by a normal sized masked meta-human.  The smaller man shouts out to you.

"You had to kill her.  It's all you know how to do.  She didn't do anything to you.  ANYTHING!!  Well tonight we're gonna make it alright again.  If my name is Requiem, you may call my little friend here Revanche.  I designed him all by myself and I'm so excited you'll finally meet."

OOC: roll for init.

Init:  2d6=6, Revanche 22,   Requiem 14.  Revanche will spend a point of Edge to go first.

@Stake:
Before you can even finish your question Boris executes the kneeling ring-leader with a single bullet to the head.  He moves over to the entrance and you suddenly hear Requiem speaking.

@Boris:
The juggernaut's cyberarm booms and the familiar sound of a mini-grenade echos through the street.

Quote
16d6.hits(5)=8.  He gets a direct hit.  You can use the Run for Your Life interrupt action.  We'll say Stake is 10m behind Boris.

IP1, CT1:  Boris-28, Stake-26, Rev-22, Req-14.
Wounds:
Edge: Stake-3/3, Boris 5/5, Rev 23, Req 3/3
