Just say No to the published modules for D&D. Those bastards are sadistic when writing those things...

From what I saw at last year's GenCon, they think I'm a sadist when I wrote "Burn".  Which I will update to SR5 and run at this year's JimCon!  ;D

And that would be why I personally avoid published adventures for most systems. I will admit that I would like to play through the Kingmaker stuff for Pathfinder though.

Oh, Burn isn't sadistic in the same way that typical pre-fab adventures usually are.  ;D

Well, my main bad experience was with the D&D 3rd incarnation of the one mentioned in the original post. I still wanna pull a Red Forman on the DM for sending my 4th level Rogue in there solo...

And my group, playing 3.5, is now live on Mondays!  YAY!

So far, I only came close to killing them.  But haven't left the Moathouse yet.  ;D

grab the Kingmaker for pathfinder if you All4,

I think you will pleasantly surprised. Word of warning, it is NOT a solo adventure.
Where am I going? And why am I in a hand basket ???

Remember: You can't fix Stupid. But you can beat on it with a 2x4 until it smartens up! Or dies.
