A variant of the Deflection spell, Reflection is the next logical step when it comes to protecting oneself from ranged attacks. As with Deflection, each hit on the Spellcasting test grants a +1 dice pool modifier for defending against ranged physical attacks. If a single-person ranged physical attack is completely deflected (the attacker gets no net hits), and the Force of the spell is equal to or greater than the base damage of the attack (including modifiers for different types of ammunition) the spell 'slingshots' the attack back at the attacker, using the same base damage as the initial attack. Treat the hits on the Spellcasting test as the number of hits on the attack roll, which the original attacker defends against normally.
Reflection is a single-person spell. Personal Reflection is identical to it, except that it can only be used on the caster. [Attack] Reflection only affects a certain type of ranged attack (bullets, arrows, throwing weapons, etc.).

Another variation on the Deflection spell, Energy Shield helps defend against nonphysical ranged attacks. Every hit on the spellcasting test provides a +1 dice pool bonus to defend against nonphysical ranged attacks (including flamethrowers, lasers, and indirect combat spells).
Energy Shield is a single-person spell. Personal Energy Shield is a version that may only be cast on the caster.
