Back in my 2nd ed GMing days I had a PC create a mentor spirit.  Whenever I roleplayed the mentor spirit I spoke in a deep, raspy voice and constantly called the player "Father."   The other players ran with it, and kept telling the PC that they were afraid the mentor spirit was gonna get lose and kill them all.

Found out months later that the player was REALLY freaked out whenever I spoke in my "spirit voice."

WKRP in Cincinatti! Oh god, I remember when that Thanksgiving episode aired; Les on the ground reporting the free turkey give away, and making it sound like the Hindenburgh disaster! Pure comedy gold! I also noticed the resemblence to Mr Furley as soon as I saw that picture.
