So, back in the heyday of the Shadowrun Archive, in the AOL/IE/NETSCAPE days, there was a thing called the  Shadowrun Webring, featuring such luminaries as wordman, the Independence Arms catalogs, and the gun called REASON.

But there was also Blaze's Shadowrun Den, which had loooong essays on the nature of the Shadowrun World which, while dated nowadays, were inspired and extraordinarily well-written (to my high school eyes at that time, anyway).

So my question for the community is this: does anyone know the owner of that site, or know where I could access its content?  I've been looking for a long time.
Have you ever had a dream where you were standing on a pyramid in sort-of sun god robes with a thousand naked women screaming and throwing pickles at you?

Why am I the only one that has that dream?

Blaze as I recall shut down the SR page some time back and you can see more on this here:

While not Blaze's, Blackjack had a number of good pieces that are still available  here:

Do you believe in a greater WIRELESS, an Invisible(WiFi) All Seeing(detecting those connected- at least if within 100'), All Knowing(all online data) Presence that we can draw upon for Wisdom(downloads & updates), Strength (wifi boni) and Comfort (porn) or do you turn your back on it  (Go Offline)?

Don't forget the Munchkin Quiz! :P

The Brumby Files are also worth a read.
Wonder if anyone has ever acted as a recorder of Mungo's tales ala Felix of the Warhammer Slayer Series...

I miss Blaze.  ANd a lot of old faces that wandered off back in those days *sigh*

Also, I kinda miss good fansites.  Damn shame websites have all but vanished in favor of crapass, generic wordpress pages.  Not that I'm one to talk, since my own page has been MIA for ages :(  Should fix that someday.

Hey now! I'm not on no damned dirty wordpress site! ... I'm on a damned dirty google sites site! Which ... is technically worse.

Your post has kind of struck a bone with me, though. I am now on a mission to re-vamp my page. I have limited HTML knowledge (hence the Google choice) but now I have a goal!

See if your web hosts support Drupal or Joomla. Two website design system that are very robust, have great communities behind them, and lots of templates to get you started fast.

Oh and they both are free to use.

Heh, cute. We got a politician who's all about norms and values, so ZeConster once ran a campaign where the guy was part of the Shadow Government who hunted vampires, and he used two guns, Norms and Values.
How am I not part of the forum?? O_O I am both active and angry!

Well, isn't that interesting... ;D

Would be curious to know how much the guy invested to print the various components (and then assemble/tune). Given the estimated costed for the printer:

Quote
The EOS M 280 runs around $700k, realistically. The base price is lower, but unlocking the parameter sets for different materials can run around $50k each. Along with your first batches of raw materials, shipping, setup, and training, you're going to be spending $700-750k.

Don't think it will be on my Christmas list this year... ;D

Nah, Reason was a backpack mounted rail-flamethrower that accelerated monoedged microflechettes down a mag tube.  It would strip your targets down to bone numbs in a fraction of a second.  It didn't have a trigger, it had a throttle.

Here's a link to Blackjack's Guide to Bitter GMs as a single file.
http://free.of.pl/h/hiro/rpg/srun/srbjbitter.pdf

Since we're going down memory lane, does anyone have a copy of Raygun's firearms house rules?  I can't seem to find my archived copy.

It was also nuclear powered. :)
