I figured The Masked Woman and The Crumpled Man were optional since we weren't part of the original five, but here we are axing the plot-specific PCs. I wonder how many secrets and subplots die with APB.

Enough to be problematic. Losing one member of red team isn't too terrible, and may actually work out to the advantage of the plot, but losing both kind of derails it entirely. If Ren doesn't turn up, I'll probably recruit somebody to replace him in control of Ace instead of killing Ace off, since I have to flush an entire subplot if I lose both of them.

As for The Masked Woman and The Crumpled Man, they are attached to the two teams, but are also subplots in and of themselves. They're easier to lose than the main members would be, but they also drag entire subplots with them if you guys vanish.

The Masked Woman picks up six enemies in the trees below her, which quickly drops to five, then four. You're not sure whether that's from them succumbing to their wounds and dying, or if they've simply given up and are retreating, and thus are no long hostile enough towards you to be recognizable by the spell.

To help move thing along and keep from combat in the matrix, mainly so the Crumpled Man can have some in the meat interaction would it be ok to just send the Agent to go scour the comms that are still up for info?
