@RnB: I'm not sure I can trace it that exactly without having it marked (Trace Icon Matrix Action), but I think I can probably get the general idea that it is coming from somewhere around the airport (probably something along the lines of rough distance and direction).

Did I get one or two net hits? If I got two, the first would be to spot it and the second would be to determine the programs he is running. I'm assuming it's the same persona icon he was using during the riot? I wanted to include that in my IC post.

Yes, the commlink is running the same persona as what comes up on the drones.

From what I recall, you can only form one persona at a time. Unless he is jumped into the drones, they're going to look like drone icons. But if he is forming his persona with his commlink, that's all I really need to know.

Honestly, the whole iconography guidelines/ownership/PANS & WANS stuff for 5E is pretty dicked up.

I misspoke.  His marks would be the marks from his persona, though the icon itself would be a drone icon.  I agree dicked up rules make for unclear speech.

He's forming a persona with his commlink. It looks like a dude with black sunglasses. Do you know if the persona was described IC or OOC? I found a description of what his persona looked like when jumped into the drone (which Bookworm would find really gross if she saw it), but I didn't find where Breeze first spotted the icon. I need to look through the OOC thread. <- Found it!

So, as it stands, he's currently logged into (at least) AR with his commlink, thus forming the persona on the commlink. He could also have a deck/RCC with the drones slaved to that device, but he isn't currently forming a Persona with it. If he wants to jump in, however, he'd have to do it through the commlink currently. Just want to make sure I have my head wrapped around all of this in advance. Thanks!
