I'm pretty sure the answer is no but I don't have all the books so I figured I'd ask. I'm not entirely happy with binding a spirit to act as a guardian long term for potential threats but resummonig some every sunrise/sunset is only really useful for areas with a high mage turnover. So I was wondering if there was anything like a contingent spell e.g. if someone tries to climb this fence trigger an illusion of a big snarly dog to keep people out of a shortcut between buildings they shouldn't be using.

See "Anchoring," Street Grimoire, p.152.

I thought that was just ongoing rather than triggering in response to something I'll have to take another look thanks.

Quickening is having a spell constantly ongoing. Anchoring is for a spell being set off based on preset conditions.
Greataxe - Apply directly to source of problem, repeat as needed.

Ah thanks I must have mixed them up somehow but it has been awhile since I've had the free time to game.
