Just something I've wondered about . . . can spells/spirit powers/critter powers go wild, like gunshots?  Due to some form of distraction at the wrong moment, I'm thinking.

I'm NOT getting it mixed up with wild magic, which usually exists in an area.  I mean, spells or whatever not going where intended, in a particular moment.

Well indirect combatspells can miss, but like bullets the game has no rules for tracking what thye do after they miss the intended target.

I realise the game mechanics don't really allow for this - or they didn't, since I don't really know.  It could be just like a special effect or theatrical, saying a spell blatted against something that was not the intended target.

Well, it allows it, in a sense. . .

Especially in the case of a critical glitch, I might pick an ally (or something the caster doesn't want hit), and treat the 1's as "hits" (remember, half his die pool's a 1 right now) and tell the victim of the glitch to pray. . .
