So I checked in to this thread, curious to see where it was going. This, um, was not what I expected.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Excalibur. Big D gave it away in his will, but said he'd misplaced it.

I like the cover. I like Zeleznik's work. Ever since I got High Tech & Low Life and saw the Shadowrun Companion 3rd ed. cover that he did and thought, "oooh, I like that" at the same time thinking, "what? What book is that from?" as I had missed its initial release. Then I realized he did DMZ, DNA/DOA, and my favorite of his, Bottled Demon (among others).

Of course, haters gunna hate and say I'm just a fanboy (or was that me talking to myself?). And to them, I say, "yup, love me my shadowrun. Love me them words, love me them art. Fanboy since '89 dagnabbit. What's that? Eh? Oh, yeah, I should go to bed...but...but...they were making Jesus Artifact jokes on the forum, can't I stay up a bit longer? Really? Thanks. I think I shall write a Shadowrun love poem now."
