From CGL:

July 06 - Street Grimoire (Reprint) - $39.99

Magic can burn your brain and sear your soul. It can inject power into every millimeter of your veins, or leave you a lump of ashes at the end of a dark alley. It’s dangerous, but to spellslingers in the Sixth World, it’s worth it. Because magic is power, and power in the Sixth World needs to be grabbed with both hands.

Spells, rituals, alchemical preparations, adept powers, metamagics—all of those elements and more can be used to help an Awakened shadowrunner move off the streets and get a taste of the high life. Street Grimoire has more options for Shadowrun players, along with information on magical traditions, magic societies, and the dangers and benefits of living as a spellcaster in a world where “geek the mage first” is a common adage. With more options, deeper rules, deadlier threats, and dozens of way to have fun with magic, Street Grimoire is an essential book for anyone playing Shadowrun, Fifth Edition.

Note: This is a corrected softcover reprint of the original hardcover book.

July 20 - Howling Shadows - $49.99/$74.99

Gangers. Corp security. Mr. Johnson. Organized crime. Other shadowrunners. Running in the Sixth World does not exactly lack for obstacles, but only foolish runners worry solely about metahuman opponents. There are plenty of other ways the world can kill you, from throat-ripping martachoras to blood-sucking chupacabras, from the aggressive gamma spider to the swarming harpy. While most runners would be happy to simply avoid these threats, it’s not always possible. Critters may be used as security, they may swarm in abandoned areas runners must investigate, or they may carry valuable reagents runners need. Some of them may even hold the keys to unlocking the sort of powers runners covet.

Howling Shadows is the critter sourcebook for Shadowrun, Fifth Edition. With a broad range of critters for every habitat, the book has plot hooks that show how critters may be used in campaigns, details on new critter powers, and other information to flesh out Shadowrun adventures and campaigns. Sink your teeth into this one and see how untamed the Sixth World can be.

Howling Shadows Limited Edition book includes a bonded red leather cover with gold foil stamp and a de-bossed graphic.

July 20 - Shadows Down Under (Novel) - $12.95

Someone–or something–is killing nightclub entertainers in Kings Cross, Australia. Striking from the shadows, methodical, heinous, the murdere has wrapped the bawdy, colorful neighborhood in a suffocating blanket of terror.

Ninniniru “Ninn” Tossing, a trouble private investigator on the run from her past, joins forces with Barga, an elderly Aborigine shaman, to uncover the truth behind the malevolent force–and put themselves on the Cross Slayer’s list. But can they defeated the darkness, survive Sydney’s powerful mana storm, and reach the true heart of the evil threatening the city? Their search takes them from the gritty alleys filled with gang symbols and worse to beneath the swatter-filled harbor bridge over shark-infested waters.

As their investigation depends, soon the Cross Slayer isn’t the only foe stalking them. Nine and Barga have to put all their trust in each other if they’re going to bring the Slayer to justice, uncover the conspiracy behind the murders, and stay alive long enough to do both.

August 03 - Seattle Sprawl Box Set - $59.99

It’s the shadowrunning capital of the world for a reason. Seattle offers an unparalleled intersection of corporate, political, and criminal powers. This is where icons are made—like the Ancients, the Halloweeners, the Finnigan Crime Family, the Skraacha, Dante’s Inferno, Renraku Arcology, the Big Rhino, and the Alabaster Maiden. And this is where runners like Dodger, Sally Tsung, Dirk Montgomery, Jake Armitage, Twist, Kellan Colt, and James Kincaid made their names, sometimes made their fortunes, and occasionally experienced horrible losses. This is where you go to test your mettle. This is how you show you’re at the top of the heap.

A sprawl this big can’t be contained in a single book, so we made a box. Inside you’ll find:
  • Emerald Shadows, a book outlining the geography of the sprawl and the notable powers and locations in each district;
  • Ruling the Queen City, a deeper examination of the power and history of Seattle, including a look at the people who rule over the city—and the people who control them;
  • Tangled Threads, holding plot hooks and adventures to help launch or continue your Seattle-based game;
  • Character cards, fully statted out cards of Seattle denizens that can be used as easy-reference NPCs of even pre-generated PCs;
  • Modular map cards, a deck of cards showing maps of different types of rooms that can be combined into a never-ender variety of buildings;
  • Gang reference card, providing a quick listing of gangs of the sprawl, their colors, and where they operate;
  • And a poster-sized map of Seattle like Shadowrun has never seen before.
All this will bring the sprawl to life while making it easier for players and gamemasters to dive into the shadowy depths that make Seattle legendary—and see if they can keep their head above water.

August 17 - Encounters: Shadowrun - $24.99

The year is 2078. The worlds’ megacorporations straddle the sprawls of the Sixth World, goliaths that intimidate even nations as they suck in souls in their drive for the almighty nuyen. Between the cracks, shadowrunners carve out a living as deniable and disposable assets that megacorps fire at each other for datasteals, personnel extractions, or even wetwork. Whether casting manabolts of magic, riding the electrons of the Matrix with just the brain, or slinging good, old-fashioned flying lead while firing at speed enhanced by the latest in bio-engineering, runners live dangerously and hope their skills are good enough to let them survive another day.

Encounters: Shadowrun is a 1-8 player fast-paced, pushed-your-luck dice and card game. Players take the role of Mr. Johnson, arranging the megacorps’ dirty work and adding new shadowrunners to their already-assembled teams. They send their teams into the shadows of the mean sprawl streets of the Sixth World, collecting though paydata to beat down their rivals. Grab some dice, make a team, and show ’em who’s the boss.

I wish they'd stop calling the Seattle Sprawl poster a 'map'. Whatever you choose to call it, that is most certainly not a map.
