Title: [5e] Help me build a decker - Core Rule Book Only
Post by: Datastream on <01-09-18/2142:26>
Hi all,

So after getting heaps of advice from people here about building my Face character, I'm needing to roll Decker as no one other than the GM has their head around the Matrix rules. The group is going to be using just the Core Rulebook as we get started, with potentially more rulebooks coming into play when we get used to the game. I'm hoping the people here can help me create a Vanilla Decker that can do the Matrix actions well and support the rest of the team. This is how I've gone so far, if people have gear recommendations, playstyle advice or any other tips for playing a decker, it would be greatly appreciated.

That's about as far as I got; I was thinking I'd take an Ares Crusader II as my concealed carry and a Ingram Smartgun X as my running gun. I know I still need to by the basics (commlink, ID's and licenses). Is there anything Decker specific that people could recommend? Or maybe some wares that I haven't considered?

Programs and lots of them. They do help with limits, noise etc.
