Austria... You are long way from home Ruth, I am originally from here, never actually left the city.
Schmidt sure has some soft spot for you though...  and I was promised a nova hot decker, so you better look chinky.

My place or yours?

With that Anna walked to Mike that showed her how to scan her measurements, she did so in the conference room and hoped that she was not recorded. Who knows how sophisticate the security was in that place was. Then again... there was so much perv material in the trix that should she even care? With her measurements taken Anna could now select what she likes from a catalog and by the remote familiarity of the rest of the runners, with the life style of SINers she may have the pleasure of clothing many of the rest as well...

Anna shrugged as she got dressed and then texted bnc again:

>> You are mocking me again, this is getting frustrating I am not as smart as you and I think you would look good in pants-suit. We are in Be Nice Cutie all over again.

We need to get people to sell us a boathouse at a fixed price. They do not care about money - so why us?

They care about something other than money but what might that be?  You are the smart one I am sure you have some ideas.

Now if you eliminate all the competition with your matrix magic - then sure no problem. I'll seat by your side and be your hand candy if this is what you like.

As a backup plan meet Beckie. The flirty and eager to please assistant.  She really wants to make the purchase to impress her boss - the head of purchasing.  If she pleases him, she will not be just an abstractor for long. Her career is moves forward and the sky are the limit. Like many other ambitious cooperate girls Beckie will do ANYTHING to make sure things happens her way. Her career is EVERYTHING to her...

Can you pretend that you are not a criminal at the edge of society but a normative person for just a day?

Existing the conference room she shrugs "I am done, whose next?".  She thinks "They see me as a joke, especially bnc, dammit."

now take an advice. this biz u wont smoothtalk anyone with that. u compell with professionalism and competence. u impressed me with witty answers yesterday. bit kinky. bit nasty. bit nice. well balanced. today its too chocolate and icecream. to sweet, i cant stomach that. cuz itn not real and i had a stomach full of fake bullshit. instead impress me with competence.
i ll take a shower then cum to ur room. there u can undress & redress me like the barbie dolls u seem to love so much.

">> Well you make it sound like a drug deal but fine. I hope that my grooming skills impress you more than my sweet tongue" She texts and then leave to her room.  Anna is a bit pissed off, she will wait for bnc and play her guitar in the meanwhile as it always relaxes her.  "Yo can do it, Yael" she thinks.

<<old habits die hard i guess>>

Roughly half an hour later there's a knock-knock on Anna's door.
Title: Re: Panzerknacker Sidethread

Anna gets up from her bed and opens the door, It kind of feels like an odd date for her.
"Ruty nice of you to come by... " she said.
Title: Re: Panzerknacker Sidethread
Post by: Volker on <10-17-16/1253:50>
As bnc enters, her mood seems a bit better then before. She's still wearing occasional clothes (though she changed): tight pants, some shirt (you guess) and a hoodie over it. Her hair is still damp and she smells of shampoo. In her hands, she holds two tins.
"Sorry 'bout earlier. I brought Pepper Plus. May I...?"
She enters the room and looks around. "Can we stick to bnc while we're her? Ruth is among the chi- ugliest names I've ever heard of..."
Has she already begun decorating the room? What's she wearing?
Title: Re: Panzerknacker Sidethread
Post by: gilga on <10-17-16/1324:03>
Anna was wearing the same clothes she wore since morning, she showered just two hours ago so she did not feel the need to shower again. She was wearing a black shirt of a local rock band and a tight jeans and her hair was braided into a clean braid. The neck of her shirt is hand cut to make the shirt more comfortable and it hints a black bra underneath. If at the heat of the night Anna appeared rich and successful right now she is dressed modestly.

Anna's room is already set up and she even decorated the walls with some posters that were clearly moved and removed more than once. Her cloths are neatly stored in the closet and her professional cosmetic kit is already deployed by the mirror in some improvised manner. On the bed there is an average guitar that is clearly worn out due to extensive use.

"Sure thing bnc, I was just practicing so that I remember all the names. I've never crossed an international border before."  She took the pepper plus sat on the bed and invited bnc to do the same, there were a couple of chairs in the apartment by the 'kitchen' area so she could also seat there. Anna added  " Besides... Roberta also  seems kind of a chinky name. It is like someone forced that name to be feminine with a gun to its head."  she said grinning and shortly after added  "cheers... !"
Title: Re: Panzerknacker Sidethread
Post by: Volker on <10-18-16/0852:21>
"Neither have I...", bnc answers somewhat dryly, knowing that she had already introduced herself an Austrian. She threw her the can of Pepper Plus and opened up her own.

" Besides... Roberta also  seems kind of a chinky name. It is like someone forced that name to be feminine with a gun to its head."  she said grinning and shortly after added  "cheers... !"

"Damn right you are. Santé, honey."

bnc takes a sip of the coke and synthahol, then lets herself fall on Anna's bed without waiting for an invitation (let alone asking for it).
"Now, how does this work. I never did something like this. Do I have to undress? Or do you just analyze me with those stylist eyes of yours?"
Title: Re: Panzerknacker Sidethread
Post by: gilga on <10-18-16/1319:18>
Anna was happy to notice that bnc felt comfortable and she took a large sip from the alcoholic drink, trying to feel its buz.   "Oh, definitely strip baby... it will fit you so much better like that.". She felt excited, she knew that it was all a business but yet there was the anticipation of getting the young decker out of her street clothes (and into something stylish?)
She took out her glasses and asked " Do you need some device for AR? Silly of me to worry for the decker to see AR right?" she smiled a silly inviting smile and donned her glasses.

bnc raises an eyebrow.
"Is this a professional necessity?" She can't quite fight down a grin, but then her look trails over Anna's almost perfect body. Her own body is scrawny: Her cheeks are hollow, her arms boney and thin, her hips stand forth. Anna doesn't need to be a fashion expert to see that she's wearing push-ups. Otherwise, she'd be flat as a board.
"Uhm, is it..?"

bnc casts an uncertain glance at her Pepper Plus.

(She doesn't answer to the question regarding her AR sight since she's already told Anna yesterday that she's got a DNI. Only if she asks again, will she confirm with a remarkable botch of sarcasm.)
Title: Re: Panzerknacker Sidethread
Post by: gilga on <10-18-16/1553:09>
Anna sighed "If you were in a real booth you would have taken them off. This an ultra realistic simulation of how these clothes will seat on your body, do you really want to measure them wearing jeans? I mean it is a nice and expensive suit  ... I think you'd it to be just right. I'll turn my back to be professional. I do not want to embarrass you."  Anna turned on her back, away from bnc and started browsing pants suits for bnc. Flipping in and then eliminating some until she encountered one that might fit. "Care to try this one? I like their fabric the suit says buissness but the blouse will break that all business vibe a bit and soften you up a bit. Will also make your boobs appear nicer due to the play of shades in color." She asked and pointed on a greyish suit, with a green blouse. "let me know when I can turn... not taking off the glasses... I promise."

"It's okay...", bnc answers timidly. "You're just a workmate, right?"

bnc looks down a moment, then casts away her T-shirt and pants. "Underwear's okay, I guess?

She looks vulnerable, an anorexic young woman, weighing no more than a 100 lbs. She'll try whatever Anna picks for her, not really having an opinion on any of them. Basically, she'll have the expert decide. At some point, she'll ask:
"Anna. Do you think, a dress would suit me better than a suit?"
Title: Re: Panzerknacker Sidethread

"It's okay...", bnc answers timidly. "You're just a workmate, right?"

Anna smiled and then said "With the level of engagement we need for this gig, I might as well be your wife. We already have some of these dynamics." she laughed softly trying to ease the tension.

Eyeing out bnc, up and down she said "Maybe black is your color..." and then tried another one, Anna continued to present bnc with flattering suits that covered what needed to be covered and emphasized what needed to be emphasized. None of them seemed to extract a significant emotional response from the young decker and Anna felt frustrated though she enjoyed the challenge - she felt that any woman  should enjoy this opportunity to groom herself rather than see purchasing a nice suit as a choir.
The irony of the situation also excited the young mage in manners that she did not understand.
"Just yesterday she laughed about me needing to undress her and here she is in my room, with nothing but underclothes"

"Anna. Do you think, a dress would suit me better than a suit?"

Anna reached out for a closet and took a red cheongsam dress with two large flowers. She approached bnc and placed the dress close to her skin.  She said softly. "Close your eyes, just feel the fabric on your skin. How soft and comforting it is... Does it make you feel good ? Attractive?  Sexy? Be honest, don't just give me a smart-ass response, babe."

bnc laughed at her joke, admitting she's got a point. "Right. So you're the one to clean my shoes and prepare my lunch?"

When Anna offered her that strange Asian style dress, bnc immediately sharts shooting off an answer, but holds back after Anna's remark.
She then carefully considers her answer, before she says:
"I ... I don't know. It kind of feel strange to me. Like, you know, something that's supposed to belong to someone else. And I feel kind of naked."

bnc sighs and lets herself fall into the bed again. "I'm helpless!"
Title: Re: Panzerknacker Sidethread
Post by: gilga on <10-19-16/0956:28>
Anna jumped to the bed after bnc and said "Well they'll flatter your body style, I look kind of goofy in them as they are mainly design for asian women that are less curvy." She took off her shirt and wore the dress and then slipped down her pants leaving them in the room Anna joined bnc in the bed and then took another sip from her drink.

Lying next to the young decker she said "You are not hopeless, dresses make me feel desirable, sexy and powerful. I like them very much. I think you would like to try it as well but are not used to them. I can help you if you let me. " She took a deep breath and asked "Can I ask you a personal question?

And there was the question the elephant in the room, Anna could help bnc, she could enchant her in a way that would give her some much needed confidence, but can she trust her.  "Can I enchant you? I can make considerably more charismatic and desireable, if you let me. It will help you experience and feel at ease with your body. "

dress topic

"I don't know... I look like a clown in an Asian dress. But I also don't wanna wear man-suits. What's that look like?"

offer

The color drains off bnc's face as she's asked the question.
"W-What? Y-You can cast a ...
I-
Wow.
You can do that? That-that, hell, please!"

This is it. I can never mock her again. But this is an experience I've been dreaming of since I was like 15 or something. If she is that kind of healing mage ... maybe she could do the same with ... bnc, calm down. You don't need more on your addiction list! You shouldn't do that! Stop!

"Come on! Give it to me!"

Dress
"I will find a dress you love babe. Perhaps something that cover your legs and give you a good place to conceal a gun and I can make you appear taller with the right kind of shoes and you are going to feel desirable and dangerous. "

Offer
Anna grinned a devious smiles and said "Oh I can totally do that, how do you think I survive without robbing banks?  Most of the people I do it to are obnoxious rich kids. You are so much more fun than them."

Anna gently stroked bnc's back and a soft brush was all it took for the spell to take effect. Bnc could feel the warm and inviting tickle of the spell as it enveloped her. She felt more attractive but it was not only a feeling, bnc became that girl that turned heads as she crossed the street. There was no actual change to her body measurements but she was gorgeous. The girl she always wanted to be, a cinderella for a short while.

The effect was so profound and Anna herself was just as vulnerable as anyone else. The fact that the now gorgeous decker was just laying next to her in underwear has certainly made it harder for the young mage.  Anna could feel that her cheeks were blushing and that her hand instinctively continued to stroke bnc's back for no professional reason. Bnc became stunning and was clearly the prettier one of the two at moment. Anna could feel that her body became more receptive and that her heart pounded with excitement. It was not without dread that Anna admitted to herself that she liked bnc. Anna wanted bnc to be happy and has tried to give the young decker the most amazing gift a woman can ever have, to feel desirable and sexy.

As excitement filled every corner of Anna's body she admitted to herself - there was nothing professional about using that spell at that social situation.  She whispered softly to bnc while her eyes were feasting on her figure. "Do you feel different?  Because you are breathtaking, I cannot take my eyes off of you."
That raises her Charisma from 2 to 6 ^^ I begin to understand why you so love the Increase [attribute] spells.

Anna is still wearing that dress, isn't she?
bnc doesn't move but concentrates on the feeling of magic entering her body. She hides her disappointment when she doesn't feel anything, really, but focusses on the thought that, after all these years, she is finally subject to magic. And what kind of magic it is!

Once the spell works and bnc is sure it's finished, bnc jumps up and runs into the bathroom to look in the mirror. For the first time in months, she is speechless. bnc stares at herself in wonder, eyes glittering. She turns and watches herself move. For that instant, bnc really looks happy. Not that kind of happy an old couple is when they look back to their lives with satisfaction. Not either the kind of happy a twenty year old woman is when she reaches her goals, marries or gets promoted. It is the kind of happy a twelve-year-old girl would feel if she opens her eyes and finds herself to have become a princess overnight.
She carefully runs her hand over her semi-nude body, as if she were afraid that the whole dream could burst like a soap bubble.

"Is this me, Anna? Is this really me? I'm ..." She looks Anna straight into the face, tears in her eyes. "I'm beautiful."
Title: Re: Panzerknacker Sidethread

Anna utilizes the break to take a deep breath and tame the beast she awoken in herself. The moments where Anna is truly happy are few and far between but that specific moment was clearly one of them. No cynicism, no smart ass comments she watched the enchanting lady in awe as bnc discovered herself for the first time and that happiness was infectious. It was difficult to contain, Anna felt happy and almost euphoric.

Quote from: bnc
"Is this me, Anna? Is this really me? I'm ..." She looks Anna straight into the face, tears in her eyes. "I'm beautiful."

Anna looked back at bnc, as if she is now seeing her for the first time and for the first time, bnc's eyes were genuinely happy Anna could lose herself in them and in a way yes, bnc was the most beautiful person Anna has ever met but it was not the spell per say, it was that genuine happiness. "It is really you and you are beautiful" she said excited and then warmly embraced the young lady.
Yes Anna changed to the red dress and left her street clothes on the floor.

"This ... This is astonishing."

She turns to Anna, gleefully. "Thank you so much. Jeez, I wanna hook up with somebody. Ya should've cast that spell at me yesterday."

bnc turns again to the mirror, grinning, then back to Anna. She hesitates a second, then hugs her fiercely. "This is one great presence. I have to show the others. No, damn, I really shouldn't.
Show me that dress once again. I don't know whether you can estimate, what this means to me. Is there anything I can do for you?"
Title: Re: Panzerknacker Sidethread

Anna smirked and asked "The one I am wearing now?" she turned around like a model in that dress and then Curtseyed, she felt a bit silly and was grinning the whole time but did not care.

Is there anything I can do for you?

Anna said "How about we get you a sexy dress and while we are at it matching shoes and proper lingerie. Then I'll do your nails and hair. I mean... as delicious as you look sweetie you still need something proper to wear for tomorrow."

"... and I need to try and not fall for you so quickly." she reminded herself.

"I haven't got a clue about fashion. You decide. Just..."
Anna can see some of her self-doubts coming back. "Just take something that doesn't look silly on my normal me. You won't be able to sustain that spell forever, will you.
Apart from that, dress me as you please. Do ... Shall we go to my room for, um, picking lingerie? I mean, I guess you only have yours here, don't you?"
Title: Re: Panzerknacker Sidethread
Post by: gilga on <10-20-16/0850:45>
Anna shrugged "Yes, sadly I cannot maintain the spell forever but if we stick together I might be able to find a more permanent solution for you, at least for your downtime. "

With a devious grin, Anna experiments all sort of dresses on bnc, with the AR display. Until she finds a good looking black dress that seems to flatter the young decker and yet be casual enough for a cooperate day of work. Matching shoes are relatively easy at well, though heels may present a problem, but Anna knows that bnc would thank her for the choice of retractable heels. She reassures bnc as much as she can that she would look great even after the spell is done.

"Lingerie at your place? I'd enjoy that very much. Let's do it."  Said Anna. She knew deep down that trying out lingerie with a lady she is so attracted to may be a recipe for heartbreak but... how could she refuse.
Title: Re: Panzerknacker Sidethread
Post by: Volker on <10-20-16/1256:02>
"What do you mean, a more permanent solution? Are you talking about Quickening? Or Attuning? I don't think I could afford a spell sustaining focus..."

<fast forward>

"Thanks for choosing the dress. I'm absolutemente safe I'm gonna regret it tomorrow but I don't give a scru of pupshit now. On y va!"

bnc opens the door and quickly checks that none of the men is to be seen on the floor. Than she grabs her stuff and rushes into her room, letting Anna in.

"I'm afraid this might not be what you're used to, but ... ah, well, who cares.

bnc's room is basically blank. The only thing she's done yet is tossing all her bags into one corner of the room. Apart from that, the room looks exactly the way it did when she first entered it.

"Uuuhm, all right. Girl, this feels so awkward. I, uhm, may I ask you something?
You're not exclusively straight, are you?"
Title: Re: Panzerknacker Sidethread
Post by: gilga on <10-20-16/1313:01>
Permanent solution
Anna said "Quickening is for initiated mages and I feel that it will take me some time to get there, I am still establishing myself as a mage and need to learn some of the basic skills that I am missing. A sustaining focus once we are out of this mess should not be too expensive, if we actually pull it off that is. "

Dress
Anna nods and says "I am sure you will, but you will like it in the longer term."

bnc's room

Anna blushed slightly and her heart started racing, the young decker was not going around the bush. "Not exclusively... She said and then looked directly at bnc and added   Especially not right now.  with an embarrassed smile.
Title: Re: Panzerknacker Sidethread
Post by: Volker on <10-21-16/0110:27>
"I knew it", bnc answers with a wide grin. "Never had that case, though"
She doesn't say any more on the topic, making it impossible to determine for Anna what's going on inside her mind. Instead, she just stands there another second, a grin on her face, then turns around, kneels, and opens a suitcase.

"Any color you can recommend for that dress?"
Title: Re: Panzerknacker Sidethread
Post by: gilga on <10-21-16/0422:41>
Anna stood and looked at bnc, she felt vulnerable and confused.... "I knew it" was not one of the replies she expected. That question feltl delicate and admitting that she was attracted to the young decker, that was not easy for her. Anna wanted to say something about that grand deflection but by the time she could say something, bnc was already searching her suitcase. "Definitely Black" she answered without hesitation. Although bnc was in her underwear, Anna seemed to be the one that felt naked at that moment.
Title: Re: Panzerknacker Sidethread
Post by: Volker on <10-21-16/1250:39>
When bnc had turned her back on Anna to rummage in her suitcases, she grinned despite herself. Guess we're even now, honey. I'm on top now.

"Hmm... let's see. Black's my favourite, sweet meat. Quite a collection there. Ooh, that red one's a bit kinky, don't ya think? Ah, right, there we go..."
She looks over her shoulder and sees Anna still standing in the middle of the room. "C'mon, get yourself comfortable."
She takes out three sets of underwear. None is what you would call lingerie de luxe, but most of them are bought to be seen by someone else than bnc herself. "Y'wanna see my favourite? 's a wiz toy, that one, check. Wifi-controlled fabric. Consists of micro-plates that flip on command. Effect is, I can load a pattern on which points it's gonna be opaque - or transparent. The dudes love it, for sure! 'least, I do."

Anna dived into bnc's bed and said softly "Show me what you got, sexy."  to that point Anna  was uncertain if bnc was actually interested or was just playing on her emotions, but she was gorgeous so, Anna enjoyed herself.  "Definitely show me your favorite... but give some love to that red one as well" Shortly after she adds, "It sound corny but I always wanted to say that... can you land me a mark on these panties?" she smirked excited.

"Slob's gonna kill me dead.", bnc mutters to herself as she turns around. While she nestles with the bra's clip, she hears Anna's question.
"Sorry. Can I what? I'm not a native, sorry.

She drops her bra in an almost casual motion. Too casual, for Anna's schooled eyes. Then she ducks, displaying clearly the protruding backbone. Rips shine through her pale skin. Yet, under the influence of the spell, the motion is graceful and playful at the same moment. She runs her finger through her hair and immediately (too immediately for ordinary hair) they fall down in a slightly wavery black mane that covers her bare back as she stands before her, stark naked, still turning the back to her.

Anna observed bnc astonishing... she would have explained that she wanted a kinky play with the fancy panties but bnc's next moves leave her completely breathless. "She has some magic of her own..." thinks Anna, and this adds to the charm  "Oh... nevermind that, I...  said Anna and she could not complete the sentence, frustrated and barely able to contain her anticipation she said "Just kiss me already". Anna then rose to a seating position, spreading her legs and arms to embrace the breathtaking lady.

"Uuhm."
What? Damn, if I tell her now that I was just changing my underwear I'm gonna look like the dumbest kid there's every been. If I don't wanna fall back to my teenage image, I must do something.
Distraction!

Suddenly, the lights go out.
Think fast, bnc. Don't lose superiority here. Take initiative. Create the rules!
Damn, I-

"Anna...", bnc started, heart pounding, voice trembling. "Have you ever heard of ... bananadust? I think this would make me real nice to you..."

If the trogs ever get to know, I'm done for!
Title: Re: Panzerknacker Sidethread
Post by: gilga on <10-21-16/2354:09>
Anna was surprised that the lights suddenly went off, but it was morning and the place was still nicely lit so she gives it little thought at that moment. She thought "Banana dust right now in the middle of the day? they will never trust me again if I do it. Can be fun when I am not on the clock."

Anna was unaware of the inner conflict bnc was having, to her anything made perfect sense by now. bnc was interested alright.  First she stared at her before the meet, then she boasted in the meet trying to impress her, then was that sexual comment about seeing her without clothes in the meet, then the spell the excitement and now they are supposed to be trying underwear - and that was clearly an excuse to get naked. If Anna had any doubt the strip teasing made bnc's position very clear.
Anna's mind and body were all set in a certain direction and in fact, that was probably her longest foreplay so far.

Anna raised and softly stroked bnc's cheek. She said softly "I really like you bnc, I do not need drugs or spells for that. You are in my mind since I met you, even before I talked to you." She took a deep breath and then said "There is no time for Bananas babe, we can do it later if you still like me after this gig. " she grinned happily and suggested "Why don't you lay back, relax and make a perfect moment with me."

"I do. I've never been with a..."
bnc slivers ever so slightly under Anna's gentle touch. She doesn't withdraw, but she doesn't draw any closer either.

Whatcha doin'? She's got you in her perfectly well-manicured, lotion-treated girly-hands. Don't lose it.

bnc doesn't react immediately. Maybe she savors the moment, before she turns around. "We don't have time. I got a shitload of work. Unlike most of us, these 24 hours I am shouldering the main load of work. I can afford..."
Now!
"I'm afraid, the magic of the moment might break any second. I need to work..."

The tension between them tangibly flees slowly, very much like light flees around at sunset. bnc lays her arms around Anna, looks her in the eyes, smiling sadly, and moves closer. She then kisses her on the cheek, lets go off her and turns around.

"You don't have some wiz enchantment to make me a more-than-nova-hot intel hunter, n'est-ce pas", bnc says in a light-business like voice. But Anna is too experienced with people to miss the regret in her tone.

"I'm afraid, the magic of the moment might break any second. I need to work..."

"I understand" said Anna softly and bit her lower tongue with frustration.

She said in a neutral and a bit quiet voice, still digesting the disappointment. "I have that spell that will enhance all your senses, it can help you find the information you need. I understand that there is a lot on these shoulders."  She said and then casted the improve intuition spell, she did not need a physical gesture as her body was already in contact with bnc's.

"Careful with it, it really enhances all your senses." said Anna and then gently stroked bnc's hand, the touch allowed the young decker to experience her elevated senses for the first time. It also implied the recreational uses of that spell.

"I'll go now, Sprinklers, allow you to focus on your work" she said

"Jeez, wait a second. Touch me one more time, please."
A shudder has gone through her body, and bnc was not yet ready to let go off Anna. "Just a couple of seconds. 'tis not a matter of seconds, is it?"

Darn slitch. She knows how ta catch me. Maybe, there is not an á dieu after all. Jesus, mercy, this is way more intense than drugs.
I guess that closes the sidethread for now. Has been fun!

Anna stayed a bit and gently stroked bnc's arm softly and sensually, for a short while. She avoided doing anything more sexual because she was not sure how easy it would have been to stop. She enjoyed looking at the young decker, closing her eyes and enjoying the sensation.

Finally, Anna got up and checked herself in the mirror, slightly adjusting her dress and hair. On her way out  she said "Goodbye Sprinklers, I hope you find what you are looking for."

Once in her room Anna set on her bed emotionally and physically aroused and a bit frustrated. "Bloody straight girls... I have a crush on a bloody virgin." She thought and then played her guitar to wash the frustration away. It was nobody's fault.  Anna allowed bnc to enjoy both spells for a while longer but after a while dropped the improve charisma spell as it became too distracting to try and play the guitar and sustain two spells. Anna hoped that when she dropped the improved charisma spell bnc would already be in hot sim, digging the matrix for its secrets.

Anna looked at bnc "Already forgot that I was here? Anything with some alcohol will do... I just do not want to think about things. "
She browsed the information with bnc, trying to make up her mind but the young brainiac was too fast for her with her direct neural interface. Eventually, she asked  "So I am going to impersonate that Eve girl? Anything I should watch out for? By the way, was it dangerous to get this information? Because I can help with some things. Make it safer for you."

bnc fetcher her a Pepper Plus and raised it with a questioning look, waiting a moment for approval. After a nod or something from Yael, she shuts the fridge door, tosses the can over to the girl, and makes herself comfortable in the chair again. She was glad that Mike finally managed to get her a basis of operation from which she wouldn't wake up sore every time she was online for more than a short span of time. And only after asked twice or so.

"Woo, so many questions. One at a time, honey. Yes, you are. What do you mean with "help with some things"?
Title: Re: Panzerknacker Sidethread
Post by: gilga on <02-15-17/0326:32>
sipping though the Pepper+, Yael said "Well you probably remember how I boosted your confidence before and then touched your hand and made you feel it more intensely than you usually do?  I am a mage but I do not know many of the spells people see in trids.  No fireballs or mind control or complex illusions. Not yet, most of the things I know how to do are invisible.

I work hard on my skills and use my magic when I need a bit extra.  For example, when I want to observe things in detail I sometimes improve my intuition.  It makes my mind more flexible and intuitive and I am usually able to sense things that I would otherwise miss.  The same thing can help you spot things in the trix, or notice if someone is hacking you.  Does that makes sense?

Yesterday, at Whitman's I used magic to keep my comlink secure from the other decker. I do not use my magic only for recreational uses, it helps me do things better. I think that it can make you safer when you do your trix work.  The skills are yours and no amount of magic can make a decker out of me for example.  They do augment what you can already do without magic and in some cases push you over the edge.  You can derive similar improvement with mind stimulating drugs - but these have terrible side effects in long term use.  My magic has no such side effects, trust me I am using it for a long time."

bnc listens quietly, and intently. She does not interrupt Anna a single time, doesn't even respond immediately after she's finished. Only after a pause, she answers.
"I'm surprised I didn't think of this earlier. I have of course heard of people knowing these kind of spells. I guess I never gave it a thought, because I never knew a spellcaster myself. When you say 'no side effects', I take it you mean: 'no physical side effects'. I can't believe that this way of stimulation is not addictive. Trust me, I know a lot about addiction.
Still ... sharpening my senses might be an ... extravagant experience. I take it you use it for ... well, your hobbies, too, n'est-ce pas?"
Title: Re: Panzerknacker Sidethread
Post by: gilga on <02-15-17/1257:16>
Yael smiled "Look bnc, I know that you are into the wonderful Banana dust. There are many things that I like but am I addicted to them.  mascara ? makeup? lingerie? sexy dresses?  You can say that I am because I spent over a year saving on my rising huntress dress.  The most wonderful one I ever had, from being invisible to looking almost like anything I wish. So good things are addictive and if something happens to my dress I will be grieving it for a while because of the way it makes me feel.

I imagine that the addiction in these spells is of the same kind.  They make you feel better about yourself so you want to keep using them. I mean, why wouldn't you?  I finance my magical education with these spells. From salesmen before an important pitch, to students doing research for their thesis and even some nervous or shy people before a date.  The danger is with lazy people that neglect their actual skills and just seek shortcuts.

I mean... you tried my spells already. So do you miss them already? Does their recreational worth compete with chemistry?  I would not know myself as I wear them like clothes according to my mood. Sometimes I go without them, and sometimes it feels better to share... Like that other night."

"How come you know bananadust? I was safe it's only known in Austria.

But yeah, this is exactly what I'm talking of... Once you start doing it, going without would feel, dunno, dull. It was a great feeling ... let's be frank, it was awesome. And it's something I could lose myself into. Getting addicted? I dunno. Am I addicted to hot sim? To bananadust? To caffeine? To Whoom? To Golden Mirror? Damn, I'd kill for another dose of deepweed in a nice environment. Hell, what do I care about getting addicted to a bit more. After all, it's point as you say: Addiction just means, it's so awesome you don't wanna go without if you can. I'd ex my family to be able to do would you can."

She then  said "Exactly,  we should explore and enjoy every pleasure this world has to offer. I mean, most people are just dead inside afraid to take a risk."

Anna smiled and said  "Did you really ask me about Bananadust?... That other night when you were flirting with the idea of bisexuality... you suggested we tried it together and I could tell that you know how to party.  So I can only imagine how incredible it is."

Anna laughed and said  "Most people are mindless drones that never take risks and only care about their cooperate jobs. They are too worked up to ever truly desire something... to stressed up to freely enjoy themselves. They dream on a promotion and 10% raise to their crappy wage...
They may stick around for long, and pay me handsomely to enhance them, but do they really live?

Though, I hear you about terrible side effect... as you can see I make my best to take care of my health. I feel that anything is good for you, as long as you know to quit while you are ahead. Just like gambling...
Simple to say, difficult to do.  Do you gamble by the way?"
Title: Re: Panzerknacker Sidethread
Post by: Volker on <02-21-17/0729:08>
"What is it then you truly desire?"
What can a person like you have left to desire?

bnc shakes her head shortly, but firmly. "No, I don't gamble. I only play if I win. Ever. I don't gamble with people, I don't gamble with whatever messes around in my body, I don't gamble around with any friggin' else. Gambling is something for the weak of mind - those who are not able to control lose themselves in the illusion that it is supposed to be fun."
Title: Re: Panzerknacker Sidethread
Post by: gilga on <02-21-17/0929:57>
Anna looked distant for a short while thinking, she then spoke and her eyes grew bright with excitement as touched her desires.

What do I truly desire?
Well Yesterday it was you...  but seriously, it changes over time...

When I was young I dreamed of being a princess, that after all the prejudice and abuse and mocking I will get to use my talent and laugh back at all these assholes that made my early years miserable.  Then I grew a bit older and I actually managed to enroll in a university and I wanted this shitty cooperate job like the rest of them. I mean, all the other students were obsessed with this wage mage career.

Then I figured out that it can never happen for me, not in a million years. No cooperate life for me – so I started being more interested in partying and in music. I even became a reasonable performer.  I truly enjoy the sensation after a good concert, to know that people truly enjoyed you. These lives are over too – I got bored with them I guess.

So, my current desire is to steal big.  Robbing that bank and walking away with all that money is going to feel better than any orgasm I ever had… I just know it.  It is not the money itself – it is the excitement of taking it. Plenty of people are rich – but how many of them robbed a bank for their wealth?

About the gambling she comments  "Well you are way to smart for these things,  perhaps this is why the illusion does not work on you. Illusions do not have to be real to be fun... I mean, what was the point in being in the trids. Then again, you are are a runner. How much do you risk by gambling? Some easy come easy go money? You risk your life - so these gambles are boring for you.   It is fun for me, and I usually win at holdem - because no matter how you are going to mask your facial expression - the aura is your biggest 'tell'. Observing it enough it is difficult to hide excitement or fear or nervousness. "

"So what is your business? do you really hate me and root for me to fail like Flatline thinks?"

bnc was just about to answer, when she heard the last sentence. She's caught completely off guard.

Anna looked at bnc admiring the skinny girl - even at anger. Anna liked conflicts and  liked resolutions, she did not feel like getting philosophical before she understood the nature of their relationship.  Well she already knew that bnc was an emotional minefield. She said "Look bnc, I owe you a lot for getting me out of Whitman so skillfully."
She looked at bnc and then took a breath and said "but it is more than that Bianca! I like you dammit!... My cards are open to you so where is all that anger coming from?"

Even when you do your insults... Though usually I need to really fuck someone up before one opens a mouth like yours.

So you don't like me because of the lesbian part? Fair enough I guess it is better than having you see me as the wicked witch of the west. It was reckless and wrong to try and seduce you... I am sorry if I hurt your feelings or confused you or whatever. We had that strange chemistry and I misinterpreted it.  Is being gay such a big deal in Austria?"

Title: Re: Panzerknacker Sidethread
Post by: Volker on <02-27-17/0051:34>
"Jeez, no, it's not about being lesbian at all. Austrians have been open to homosexuality long before you Americans understood it's not evil to go to a sauna being nude. You might remember I was about trying it myself. I'm not a homophobe. Give ma a load of 'dust, and I'm into everything.
I guess, you might even be un poco more disgusting if you were a hetero guy. Do you think it makes you attractive when all you do all day long is trying to get nailed by basically everyone and everything? No matter who we meet, no matter what we do, all you think about is getting your cunt stuffed. Pff, call me romantic, but who in his right mind would want to be the hundred-twentieth to wank off in your worn-out vag? I can't even imagine how many drunk, fat chipsies you layed just to get your load. It makes me sick.
But you know what, this is still not why you piss me off. You can squirt into whoever's face you feel like to. I just can't stand people who think they're the center of the world. You take yourself way more important than you are. You're just yet another student in a fucked-up world who was lucky enough to get shit at by the great mojo lottery, is all.
Title: Re: Panzerknacker Sidethread
Post by: gilga on <02-27-17/0158:18>
She listened and then answered "Well, I am not just a student who won the lottery. Mojo takes years to master and you have to survive long enough to actually use it. A street rat needs to be wise, not your genius hacker wise - but streetwise. You need to know whom to conn, whom to pickpocket and whom to stay away from. Sometimes you need to know whom to sleep with and it always feels terrible. Seriously, if you learn what I had to do to actually get my ass to university and develop this freaking gift you would not envy me any longer. Though, how would you know how it feels to play your guitar on the streets all day in an attempt to feed your family. To go to sleep hungry and cold and afraid? I bet you never had to sleep with anyone just for a roof over your head and some warm clothes. Life are dangerous and short enough without puritan lectures and graphic insults. I'll enjoy what I can before it is my time. "

Anna moved uncomfortable, noticing she was blushed and close to crying - a freaking dumb student was an insult. It reminded her of how much she missed her life in the streets and how she betrayed everyone to just get that education that her fellow students just needed to be born into the right family. How as supportive as her parents were, they would never be truly okay with her leaving. Even if it was the only logical choice rather than a life of street crime.  She took her guitar leaned back and with closed eyes played a sad tone she remembered from her childhood.

"I am not having any fun now... " she said with near wet eyes.

bnc stood, scowling at Yael, her anger barely contained. "This is precisely what I meant. You're presumptuous and egocentric. You're neither blind nor as bottomless stupid as what your talk indicates. Get the fuck - out - of - my - room if you can't use the few chunks of grey matter underneath your well-done hair. Do I look like my parents fed me well and nice? Do I look like I grew up in a tight, secure, warm place?" It's obvious what she means. Her face is hollow, her eyes have circles. Malnutrition and intoxication left marks on both her body and soul.
Her voice is pitched, almost to the point of screaming, as she grabs Yael by the collar. "Read a FUCKING EBOOK about prevalences of diverse "irregularities in nutrition and substance abuse", you presumptuous moron. In the meanwhile, I give you a hint: You don't need this" - Yael feels a sudden pain where bnc holds her, as a small, put painful dose of electricity is emitted into her body - "in a corp house. Now get out and don't you dare assume anything about my life ever again!"

It's not difficult to spot that bnc herself is close to tears, both from fury and painful memories.
Title: Re: Panzerknacker Sidethread
Post by: gilga on <02-27-17/0701:46>

Anna does not even try to resist as she is shocked out of her memories. She bites her lower lip not to scream and then said angerly "You asshole!" She pushes bnc to the couch and leans over her. Usually, Yael would not go into physical, but in this odd confrontation, Anna is superior physically. She is small frame and weak but as agile as a cat and with naturally good reflexes. She pushed her body weight on top of bnc and said in a low tough voice "You have money for expensive drug abuse and you needed a small fortune just to get into your game. Get a fucking grip over your life before you toss them away for nothing..." with a pause she said "Oh and nice to finally freaking meet you Bianca - I am Yael. .
Title: Re: Panzerknacker Sidethread

bnc fights down a scream of terror, astonishment and fury when Yael dives over her, pinning her down. As a former urchin, Anna immediately understands why bnc doesn't scream. She'd rather die than admit defeat in front of their other teammates. Being rescued in this situation is something unthinkable. Instead, something between a snarl and a hiss comes out of her mouth.
The moment Anna lies over her, pinning her down, there's a tangible tension between the two of them. bnc's breast heaves heavily as she struggles to get Anna off her.
"I fabricate my drugs myself, from cheap materials. I can get all this stuff in a grocery or drug store for no money at all, and I earned every single euro for my deck myself, by my own blood and sweat. I was given nothing. Nothing."
Since you managed to subdue her, and bnc's strength is 1, let's assume you pinned her down succesfully, holding her by the wrist so she can't electrolute as long as you hold her. If she replies something before (or instead) of leaving, it's okay with me, although you already wrote that she leaves. Anna might find the situation interesting: Between all this tension, and fury, and intense exchange, bnc lies under her, breathing heavily, helpless.
Title: Re: Panzerknacker Sidethread
Post by: gilga on <02-27-17/1634:40>
Anna is surprised that it actually worked, the young decker lies under her and breathing heavily... almost. She can feel the tension between hitting her or kissing her - actually Anna has been in that situation before. Grappled and helpless - she just was not the one maintaining the grapple. She tightened her grapple as much as she could, pushing even closer to the young decker, pressing against her. She said  "Ofcourse you make them yourself, you are a brianiac... and of course you are too proud to call the trogs... I wonder what explanation would be more embarrassing...
Seriously though, you have anger issues and electric hands - I am not letting you out until you calm down."
Anna was not a violent person and was a bit embarrassed by the situation and intimacy. After a moment of silence she said "Sorry for thinking that you are a spoiled  genius rich girl with daddy issues, eating disorders and drug abuse problems... I tend to see the best in people."  She smiled somewhat artificially - as she was still blushed and her eyes were still wet. But she then added "but until you relax, I will tell you this. I like you because you remind me of the things I left behind. The sad truth is that I miss the fucked up life I left behind. I had friends that got it. I cannot really talk to spoiled rich kids, all their experiences are boring and their problems are mundane and unexciting."

bnc's eyes are fixed on Yael. She stares at her for a long time, unable or unwilling to say anything. Her mind is racing, her body in high alarm. She struggles to get free, suppresses a grunt of pain and frustration. There's no indication that she'd give up easily. Even when she stops struggling, Yael - experienced with people and grown up on the street - doesn't need a second glance at bnc's eyes to figure out that she's not even about to calm down.
When bnc finally speak up, her voice is full of vomin. She speaks low, and icy, stressing almost every syllable. "Are you fraggin' kiddin me? You've got some serious disorders. I know what I speak of, you blown-up barbie-doll. You degrade me to the very thing you loathe, and then frame youself as 'seeing the best in people'." Her voice changes, as she falls into sarcasm. "Oh, sweet, sad, rich, student and mage shadowrunner Anna - or is Yael s'posed to be a name? - falls in love with a fucked-up orphan because life has become so boring since princess Barbie doesn't have to be cold and hungry anymore. Anna is my fake SIN name, the one I used for university. I honestly wanted to be like the SINNers but at the end of the day I am just a fake person. I cannot get a real job because even the best of SINs burn out under a serious inspection. I do not hate them or anything. I mean I used to  blame them for anything when I was a street girl - now I simply feel that I can never be honest with them.  Their problems seem trivial and boring for me  and I cannot really connect with them.

Oh and you can stop the act, I know that you do not find me repulsive. You can tell that to yourself all day long but you are the only member in this team with such a strong emotional response toward me. So call me fool, or perv, or barbie doll all you like. I know that there is something more in there - but I am not part of your inner monologue babe - so I'll never know why you respond so intensely to me.

I will let you out now - I do not wish to harm you. If you try and strike me I can protect myself, I am not afraid."

bnc rolls her eyes in frustration. "Ugh, you got a serious problem. I'm intensily pissed by you, that's about it. Maybe I'll text Gerhard to explain it to you nice and cosy. I share your love for fun, but I can't stand people who believe they're the center of the world. Now, if you'd please stop raping me..?"
When Anna lets go, bnc doesn't attempt to electrolute her. She pushes her off herself rather harshly, however, as soon as she gets the chance to. She gets up quickly, though Yael can tell that she's not a trained fighter. The motion is awkward and unrefined. Still, bnc never even averts her gaze from Yael for a split-second. She pats off her shirt and jeans, where Yael lay on her.

Anna relaxes a bit and said "Well, I do not believe that the world revolves around me. Forgive the girly metaphor... I am sure you'd use a different one.

I put up with your insults and mood swings and this time you crossed the line to violence.  Yes I know, you got angry for me thinking the wrong things at you but how could I know what to think? Computers do not talk back to me, no background checks. I see what I can but without context it is difficult. Malnutrition can come from eating disorders or can come from having no food to eat. I see bits and pieces and assemble them together, sometimes I am completely wrong.  I am trying. "

She looks around and said "I guess I should leave" she fixed her clothes and unless stopped would head toward her room.

"Don't play that card", bnc says, averting her eyes. She's trying to sound thick, but Yael can tell that she touched something inside bnc. She can't quite come up with the anger that filled her just seconds ago.

When Yael's finished, bnc looks up. She doesn't react at Yael's announcement that she's about to leave. Instead she asks flatly and somewhat bluntly: "What do you want from me? All you get is insults and what nice and tidy college girls might call violence. Why bother? And don't bulldrek me again."

Anna sighed "For once, I am a street rat turned into a college student
and I spent the last years buried behind books or drunk in college parties.
Where would I go after we rob a bank? I need your help more than your realize.
I mean you are a foreigner so you definitely know how to travel under the radar.
You also know how to behave under that kind of heat, I don't.
I never left the city and if I skip town I am completely on my own. "

She shrugged "and we do have something. I have no idea what, but there is something there.
Anger or violence are not the worst, silence and indifference are worse." she said.
Anna hugged herself and felt vulnerable. A deep emotion from within made her cold and lonely.
At first, she was upset about the past, now was upset about life in general.
It was nothing verbal - but if it was it would come out as something like:
" Nobody likes the truth...
You should have spoken about her eyes or soft skin or something.
Stupid little girl."

bnc's voice is calm, and difficult to interpret: "I cannot help you. If you need help to cross borders, do the same I did: fuck someone who's bigger, tougher, and older than you, and hope he doesn't get bored before you're finished using him.
In the shadows, everyone's alone. Now go."

bnc stands for the blink of an eye, then turns to the fridge.

Anna said sarcastically, "So your advice is to go fuck someone else... and you just had to bring that up now" she was angry - but kept her voice at check.

She approached the fridge and tried to get an eye contact, she said.
"bnc,  I do not rape - it is more of a guy thing. If you want me to leave you alone I will.
She sighed and then said
Though I was not asking you for a favor or anything, you will use me as well... You are a decker and I can make you even smarter and more alert and strong willed. I can give you an advantage that no other decker has.  Besides, your merry gang has no mage and it will slow your game, you are better of working with someone you trust

bnc sighs softly, but doesn't make an attempt to stop Yael despite having her sent off just seconds before.

"There's one persistent specimen..."
"Another drink then?
Why exactly is it a bad timing? Whatever you felt there was between us, was yesterday, and seems like an eternity. Apart from that,  you are about to fuck someone else to boost your career. Since you come after your mother in that regard, why not say it?

I know you don't rape. You don't have the balls for it. Neither literally nor methaporically. I could tie myself to the bed and take 'dust, and you would ask for my permission, wouldn't you?"

When Anna mentions future cooperations, her tone becomes a tad more business. "I don't trust anybody. I plan on becoming older than 22. If you're sensible, you do the same. I can work with you, and with any other mage. I don't have a problem with you, but if I can choose, I choose someone who doesn't blow up things because they freak out.
And yeah, this implies I wouldn't work with myself probably, if I could choose. Believe me, I know why."

Anna looked at bnc and said "Well thanks, it's not like I need to do much before evening." and takes the second round. "Because I am not entirely comfortable with my role in that gig. I am not saying that I am not going to enjoy it. Still, somehow this is the second time where I end in this position.  I wish we were smart enough to find a solution that keeps me fully clothed. I mean, I am a professional pickpocket and been lifting wallets since I was like five.  Perhaps we should have done some pickpocketing or something.

Was that an insult about my mother? That bitch would pimp me for a shot of bliss.  I left my family to their fate because they are assholes that used me just like everyone else."

Anna laughed softly at bnc's rape comment "Well, perhaps some people can enjoy an unresponsive girl that just lays there. I like my girls considerably more active... If any I sharpen their senses to increase sensation. No I would not ask for permission, I'll just let you be.  If you don't scream I don't scream sugar. "

She then said "You are too harsh on yourself, street mages are batshit crazy and street deckers are neurotic and self centered. I get you do not get to be an elite criminal without being broken to begin with. Perhaps I am crazy for being drawn to this lifestyle in the first place - the sensible thing  was to decline this job and stay at school, easier to get to 22 that way."

"Considering you don't like your mother being a whore, you talk a lot about getting laid for money, or career, or basically any other incentive I can imagine, including attention and jelly bears. If you wanna get used for more than your cunt, learn something valueable.
You know, insulting you starts to wear off. Do you have no pride at all? You could at least pretend to feel hurt."

bnc gets herself a second can, too. For a moment she stands, considering, then she pops it up. "You know", she says with a half-bored half-smiley voice, "if you think, 'dust leaves you unresponsive, you should definitely watch more trid."

bnc doesn't delve into the subject. She stretches, then shuffles back to hear seat.
"I'm not being harsh on myself. Maybe it's my Austrian heritage, but I don't need to lie about myself. If I could pick a reliable hot decker, I would. That's why I would prefer a real pro over you any time."

"bnc, I do not come from a functioning family, I learned to do whatever it takes to get my goals.
Morality and puritan values are for silver spooned SINners, street urchins have no choice.  Pride is a weakness,
makes you stupid and weak. Anger is the same thing - emotions are expensive to have.  I keep my soft spots close to my chest.
You will not hurt me with generic insults about my mother or about what a slut I am.  I can fake cry if it makes you feel better about yourself, but I do not give a damn.

If you really want to hurt me, you touched a nerve before, when calling me a SINner.  I do not think that you really want to hurt me,
I think you have a soft spot for me. This is why you care so much what I think about you." With a moment of self awareness Anna suddenly said " I am doing it again,  right? Darn... I am such a cunt."  She laughed, feeling a bit of the tension releases.

With a grin she added "and your perfect decker is probably a spider and happily married. By the way, I do not watch trids like ever. I'll do your drugs if you like, or we can do mine again... if you feel like blowing off some steam.

bnc eyes Anna suspiciously, but then decides that she indeed bears her no ill will.

I quickly learned to just say what they wanted to hear. Astral sight usually gave me some insight as to how careful I needed to be.  Does not work on you by the way, perhaps because you are so unstable....

Anna laughed " My backbone? I watched countless people with backbones die as I grew up, ever heard about the Oak and the Willow?

This is the thing bnc, everybody likes to hear what they want to hear. Few people deserve the truth and fewer people can actually handle it. Everyone has weaknesses, I am physically weak so why confront people physically? I use my strengths, gangsters have egos the size of a building, makes them easier to manipulate. Ego, pride, self-esteem - they are all weaknesses. "

she sighed and stretched a bit  and by the way Bianca, calling me a doll is your weakness, not mine. You resent me for being physically attractive. Justify it all you like, push me away if you will. Though, you can walk around prom queen pretty - beautiful and desirable. It requires some planning and adjusting - maybe a bit expensive but it most certainly can be done. I've seen more experienced mages achieve these feats. You may no longer need these protection layers. "
By the way: http://fablesofaesop.com/oak-willow.html
Oak and Willow is a similar tale to tree and weed - but the Oak still thinks that he wins after the wind unroots it.
It is about meeting death in an honorable way or that. Anna prefers the Willow's point of view which is opposite to the lesson of the story.

bnc raised an eyebrow, sceptically.
"Dunno, but I load it even so, sweet meat. An' you know what: a saw a truckload of people without backbone die, too. Guess what, this is the sixth world. People die. It's unfair. You've got nothing to help it. Go cry yourself to sleep if this is what you want but don't think your superior because you lie whenever it's convenient and spread your legs to anyone. 'cause your not. It's a way to survive, but it's the most pathetic one.

Uh, manipulation. Now we finally reached an interesting topic. I'm proud, I have a big ego, I'm emotional, I guess. Now, how far exactly did you come in manipulating me? That I tolerated you stay after I kicked you out? I'm impressed, sweet meat."

When Anna addresses her resentment towards Anna, bnc averts her eyes. While her wording pretty much stays the same, it feels somewhat hollow, less energetic. "You can't help it, huh? Everyone loves you because of your gorgeous tits, and if you seriously annoy someone, it can only be because they envy you. Oh, Anna, you are so awesome, so incredibly amazing, please, let me kiss the ground on which thee tread, let explore thy divine shape lest passion and envy extinguish me."
bnc rolls her eyes, but gets up the same instant and walks over to the bathroom.

Anna said "Well did I mention that I shoot like a pro, you over simplify things to scorn me.  You and I are different and what works for you may not work for me.  I am flexible and adjust myself to other's whims. Call me pathetic all you want, it is this flexibility that allows me to work with you rather than go cry in my room or whatever it is you think I do after you shot your insults. "

When Bianca mentions manipulation. "Bianca, you are not a gangster and I am not a powerless teenager. I am not trying to manipulate you. I am trying to make friends and you are sending me mixed signals all the time. "

When bnc rushed to the bathroom Anna was conflicted she walked to the door and said softly "bnc, are you alright? Do you prefer that I leave?"

bnc snorts. It's difficult to tell whether she's annoyed, amused, angry, or all of them plus something else.

"I've been trying to get rid of you for the better part of an hour now. Why bother asking?"

bnc steps in front of the mirror and looks herself in the eye. "Do you know what amuses me?", she says, half to herself, half to Yael. "Toying around with someone who thinks they're powerful."
The very moment she finishes the sentence, bnc almost casually opens the zipper of her hoodie.

Chapter 3.1

"If you give up drinking, smoking and sex, you won't live longer. It just feels longer."
- Sigmund Freud

Seattle, November 9th, evening

It started subtly. A smal ARrOw first, pointing to the group room. An entry in your calendar you sure know you didn't enter. A very faint tune, at the edge of your consciousness, something that reminds you of partying, drinking, and enjoying yourself. The realization came more suddenly: bnc's up to no good.

All of the team received the invitation, each in their individual ways. Gerhardt, too. bnc had turned their common room into a club. She invested some creds in a music mood analysis system that interpreted data recorded by a camera. Depending on facial expressions, clothing styles, measured movements or even physical height, sex, and build, the system would generate a music mix that suited the moods of the whole party. To make the start nicer, she added some favourite songs she might have stumbled upon in their party members' commlinks.
The ceiling lighting and basically everything that shines is synchronized with the music system. In smooth rhythms, the dim light seems to move in tune with the sound.
bnc arrives a few minutes after her chummers were invited. In her hands, she's holding a big bottle of vodka and a pile of glasses. In her face shines a wide grin.

"Chummers. If you're interested in history, you might have noticed that a hell of a lot of nasty things started on November 9th.
So let's honor this date, fuck it all, and do some really unprofessional mischief.
Someone bring ice and orange juice!"
Title: Re: Panzerknacker Sidethread
Post by: Jack_Spade on <04-23-17/1650:19>
Schmidt replied five minutes later: <<I think I can manage to free up this particular evening. Thank you for the invitation.>>

Later, Gerhardt appeared with a slightly harrowed look on his face, indicating that whatever he had been doing was far from relaxing. But he made good on the orange juice: He brought a little press and a sack full of real-honest-to-god oranges.

Slobber wandered out of his room after putting on whichever baggy cashmere hoodie had the fewest signs of wear and tear from work and his sebatical in the barrens it and a clean pair of jeans.

"I didn't bring any oranges, or ice, so I settled for bringing the life of the party." He stepped aside to reveal Zelda wearing a pair of deal with it glasses.

"She probably sings better than me, too."

Anna arrives with a fresh dark blue dress, meticulously done hair that rests free on her shoulders with new red curls (she died her hair for the occasion) Her nails are neatly done in turquoise that matches her green eyes. On her back rest comfortably her 'guitar' which is a modern guitar shaped instrument that can be played either manual or wirelessly, and would be described more as a synthesiser than a guitar.

"No oranges, but Mike stuffed the refrigerator with plenty of adult beverages." She greeted Schmitt and the rest with a dazzling smile and still felt a bit uncomfortable in addressing her employer in first name basis.

As per his norm, Krestov was the last to arrive, dressed down compared to his normal, fashionably armored getup.  Choosing casual, the big troll garbed himself in a pair of baggy cargo pants and a single-color tank, his hair pulled back into a ponytail.  In his hand he carried a bottle of a dark liquid which he placed on the counter amidst the music...even if it switched to the Russian national anthem for a brief moment thanks to a certain someone''s sense of humor.

"Is scotch, aged, year 2038.  Was saving for good time then cleaned up liver, hah.  Am happy to share"  he smiled, relaxing his shoulders as he settled in.

bnc is wearing her usual outfit - a pair of black jeans and a hoodie in the same color - but you can still tell that she prepared herself for the occasion. She's done up with make-up, however slightly (and, in comparison to Yael, clumsily). The wifi tattoes on her head and shoulders show show a slightly bizarre, yet artistic black-and-white image of rose tendrils burying their thorns into the flesh. A single drop of blood, the only thing in color, trickled down her neck, collarbone, and vanished under the hoodie, presumably in her décolleté. It's difficult to tell whether this drop is a tattoo, fake blood, or real one.
She's wearing black-and-silver earrings. Her fibreoptic hair is dyed black with a hint or purple, reflecting the light ever so slightly. It's shaped in an irregular fashion, like she had engaged in heavy physical activity just recently.
A single script in small, chisel-look letters runs down her neck: MECAPE SI POTES.

Here comes the big one. Let's rock! She smiles when her guardian spirit enters the room. After allowing him a slightly melodramatic entering, she adresses the group once again.
"Ouh, wow. Real oranges. 40 year old scotch. Zelda. I guess my bottle of vodka is dwarfed by your efforts. Uhm. For the adventurous among you, I might make up with something hand-made..."
To cover her embarrassment (she knows about the mixed feelings of her comardes in regard to her hobbies), she turns around to staple glasses on a prepared tableau.

Schmidt looked curiously around - it had to be a really rare occasion for him to socialize with his runners. Mike came in last - having organized some last minute party materials. Together they manned the orange juice press. The stainless steel contraption was heavy and seemed to operate with enough force to turn the pulp to dry dust. For this Schmidt had taken off his jacket and folded up his sleeves to the elbows, revealing for the first time that he too had tattoos: A shark crossed with a trident on his left forearm and an intricate, celtic stylized dragon head on the right. Barely visible was the edge of a slap patch on his biceps.

With a mild smile he nodded at bnc's offer.

Anna placed her instrument on one of the chairs and then looked at Krestov, saying"Well, it is better I eat something in before I start with the head slotters or it is going to be a very short session for me" she looked at Schmidt and said "Juice me up" , overall she was in a good mood, and the hair style was inspired by the real Eve.

bnc was so diverted that she almost missed Gerhardt's nod.
Him? This ... It must be a misunderstanding. Can't be...
Mechanically, with slightly shaking hands, bnc loads glasses on the tablet, while she frantically searches the security system for the camera recordings.
There! I distinctly said "For the adventurous among you, I might make up with something hand-made" and then he nods. And smiles. He's serious. It must be a misunderstanding. Cheez, this can now be the most unprofessional mistake I'm ever going to make. bnc, don't y-"

She bites her lip, a gesture of nervosity all of the team have grown to know by now, as she walks back to the small table. At least make the most professional fool out of yourself.

She sets down the tableau, one hand almost intuitively touches something in the bag of her hoody. "Uhm, sure", she says with a shy and embarrassed smile, trying to cover the fact that she's behaving like a teenage girl. "What may it be. I guess something, well, stimulating. Something social as a starter..?"
You might just have ruined your career. Moron.

Schmidt smiled again revealing quite a lot of wrinkles at the corners of his eyes: "No matter how advanced technology gets, nothing beats handmade cooking."
With a grin of his own Mike leaned towards his boss and whispered something into his ear while serving Anna a virgin screwdriver.
To Schmidt's credit he didn't let anything show on his face as he continued: "Though, I have no idea if that adage translates to stimulants as well. Oh well, seems like my nephritic screen will have some work to do.
Something mild please, it's been a while..."

"Heh"
bnc's short laugh sounded nervous, yet reliefed. He can be such a charmer. I just came away with offering my employer drugs. Jeez. Now only Anna can outdo me in regard of stupid offers...
"Sure, a man of your standing shouldn't let loose to much, eh? Uhm, let's see...
I myself recently re-explored Novacoke for myself, but for obvious reasons I'm not producing it myself. I basically, uhm, cook stuff from home. The Wienerschnitzel of partying, so to say.
Uh, look!"
Slowly getting a bit more confident, bnc produces some small plastic bags. In one of them is a yellow powder, the other contains golden crystalline chunks.
"I actually wouldn't recommend bananadust to you. Not only is that bitch quite addictive, but it has also, well, let's say, effects a man of your position might want to avoid when engaging with his employees.
"So I'd like to present you with my very personal favoré. Golden Mirror is a stimulant. It won't recalib your wires a lot, but it will definitely make you more active in a party. There aren't any bad sideeffects, if you don't start doing them on a regular basis..."
"Jeez..."

Schmidt nodded at the explanation: "Fascinating." He took a bit of the powder with his fingertip and rubbed it on his gums. "Reminds me of the time in the forces before we had sleep regulators and had to stay focused on extended missions."
Schmidt turned back to the juice press and prepared another batch: "So, what are your plans when this run is finished? Many people would call it quits and retire, or at least look for a less exciting job."

Krestov seemed to relax quite well as everyone settled in, the troll doing his best not to be in the way.  Setting the brown bottle down with the other libations, he politely inquired for some juice as well as he listened in.

Interesting to see that the troll was the quietest one in the group, given his social training and all. But, he seemed content at the moment to be present, drinking in the conversations and the music.

Slobber clinks his glass of juice off of Anna's glass and then takes a light sip. "Why would I water this down with alcohol?"

"So Anna, when you spoke with Zola you talked about wanting to own a Vineyard and produce real wine with real grapes. What is your real ambition after this run, and have you considered starting up an orange grove instead?"

Anna smiled and took another sip "I am beginning to consider it." she said and then allowed herself to be carried away with the thought "Will need to move to warmer climate like Callfree or perhaps Spain... I'll miss the city's nightlife though...  What about you? Any dreams?"

It was a question that Josiah had only recently started to consider. It hadn't expected this kind of opportunity to be in front of him, and certainly not after he avenged the death of his parents.

"Buy a home for my adoptive family for starters. One in a safe neighborhood with a white security fence and room for Zelda to run around. Finally get back with the girl I left back there, if Kazuya doesn't kill me for it.

"Maybe spend my evenings and free time trying to dismantle Seattle chapters and byproducts of the Humanis Policlub. Maybe go into the barrens on holidays to bash and batter anti-meta gangers.

"So a quiet, peaceful, next 20 or so  years."

Anna said "Oddly, I cannot imagine my family in that kind of environment."
She thinks "Did Larry ever drive a car he owns?"

"Thing is bashing scums is just therapeutic - there will always be more,
and doing so just fuel their claims about savage meta running amok. "

"Being a mage, I just accepted that I can be blamed for any misfortune.
Without as much as a proof.  University just brought different prejudices,
it seems that hate is constant just the reasons change. "

She broke and then asked bluntly "Is the anti-meta activity really bothering you that much?"

"Uuuuh, careful with the powder, boss. This is the bananadust. Yellow powder. Bananadust. I mean, if you'd like, go for it, but you, uhm, might end up pretty much the way Anna is at her most natural." She grins, not sure whether Anna heard the remark or not, and how she'd feel about it.
After Gerhardt has chosen his stimulant of choice, bnc will join him and take the same amount and substance (only that she'll have built up a tolerance - which she's going to need the evening).

bnc then turns to Krestov. "Eight-six-eight-two. We've got a challenge running." She raises the bottle of vodka. It's not the finest brand, but nothing cheap either. "Let's begin with 4cl for starters?
Ah, and honey, you may pick a wager. No bet's a bet without something to bet on, is it?"

Slobbertooth's eyes flashed a furious anger, but took a deep breath. It's not like I told her, so I can't really hold it against he for not knowing"

"When I was 7 years old a hitmage reconfig'd both of my parents. My mother was shot in the head and the house burned down around her. My father was shot and then hung outside the building we stayed in. Along with a couple of signs pointing to it being a crime done by anti-meta gangers. It later turned out it was all for show, and that my parents were slightly more extraordinary than I realized. (Or'zet)but that never stopped the gangers I asked os so nicely about it from taking pride that someone took care of the uppity orcs family.

"They certainly never backed down from the fact that they harassed my adoptive family because an orc stayed with them. Believing I had already seen one family murdered by anti-meta gangers, I left.

"So I've got some drek taking credit for the lynching of my parents and actually driving me away from a safe home in the barrens. I think I have plenty of reasons for it to bother me."

Talking about it has clearly riled Slobbertooth, but he sees Zelda and remembers the spirit that helped guide him through this.

"Besides, it's how I found Wolf, and he would never accept me being a total layabout."

Schmidt nodded at Slobbertooth's story: "I heard about your encounter with the Norse mage. I have to say, I was most impressed when I learned that he and his girlfriend reappeared and got a Job with S-K Europe. Works primarily as a summoner and ritualist now.
What exactly did you do to him and why did you let them live?"

Krestov felt the hackles rise in his throat at the sudden turn of the conversation as eyes fell on him.  Gulping his sip of juice, he sighed as he rubbed the back of his neck.

"He was beaten.  His power advantage taken and disabled.
Just a tool, like us.  He saw he was finished and surrendered.  Not a fight after that...wasn't necessary to kill."

Krestov nodded his head.  "Knows better than to seeking us again."

Bravo, Anna. This was exactly the kind of topic we need to get a good party going.
bnc facepalms herself sullenly and stashes away her home-made cookies. She inhales deeply but when the situation doesn't appear to change on its own, she puts on her lance and shining armor to rescue the party.
"Chummers, there's time for this and time for that. Now's the time to celebrate big. All of us has seen a lot, or otherwise we wouldn't be here. Slob, Krestov, me, Anna - I guess. I daresay even Gerhardt. I'd love to hear all them sad stories. But not now. Not fucking today.
Anna, why don't you make up for that by telling us a nice story. Tell us about your biggest heist. You say, you're a damn-hot thief. Tell us about your biggest victory over foreign property.
And Special K, down the goddamn vodka. I can't wait to tell everyone that I knocked out a 400-pound Russian troll in a vodka duel."
She tries to wink, not sure whether she made everything better, or worse.

Anna said "You got me wrong,I am hot and I am a thief.. I am not a hot thief, only posers brag.
I will tell you two stories, one true and one fantasy. First story, about a failed theft. When I was young there was this concert downtown, fifty six. I was like twelve, perhaps eleven but with enough makeup and the right clothes I could pass as adult. I liked the music so much that I decided to steal one of the instruments, so I followed the band to their hotel and posed as a groupie to gain access to their musical instruments. One thing led to another... and I learned the importance of a tag eraser. I got caught outside of the hotel, guitar started beeping so I grabbed it and run. Fifty six liked that guitar and the moment he figured it was gone, he reacted quicker than his security and tailed me with his bike. I managed to get all the way to Puyallup when that bastard caught me and pointed a gun to my face, demanding me to hand it over.  He was emotionally attached to that guitar or something.  We were pen-pals after this incident and the next year he sent me this guitar as a gift, after I sent him a demo of my first song."

Second story "I spent my youth pickpocketing SINers and collecting money to survive, but I really wanted a guitar and so I bought one and it meant that there was not enough money for food. It was not as nice as this one, but in time it turned out that I could play and people will hand me their money willingly and I only needed to run from the police."

Krestov took a glance to the side, a bit abashed by the reprimand from the tiny decker in their group.  But, he shook it off with a small smile as he took the shot glass between two fingers with a raised brow.

"Four hundred?  Been some time since was 400..."  He chuckled, opening his mouth to tip back the burning beverage.  He gulped, eyes closed as the troll flinched not at the libation.  Setting the glass upside down, he showed his victory to his opponent.  "Would be careful.  Last time you tried this did not end well, da?"

bnc smirks at Anna's word play.
"Nicely told, I give you that. I didn't know that you were so much into music. And if I had had to guess, I'd have chosen flute as your favourite instrument."
She pours some orange juice over her vodka, before she downs it, a bit slower than Krestov did. She seems to be used to spirits, but her face displays an involuntary reaction nonetheless.

"Which last time? I can't remember having engaged in a vodka duel ever before. Was it so intense that it destroyed my memory?"

Krestov helps himself to pouring out the second round of vodka shots for himself and bnc, otherwise allowing the decker to set the pace as he made the toast.  Upend in the drink, the living tank seemed to shrug it off not unlike the bullets he's seen to absorb.

Giving a chuckle, the troll shrugged.  "When someone here feeling confident enough to take stage?  Sound like you volunteer friend, hahaha."

Slobber downs the rest of his scotch. Glancing at Anna before looking at Krestov dreamily, putting a hand at the small of his back (if there is such a place on Krestov) and leading him to center living room.

He quickly picks a song and the speakers start playing Dreams, Dreams (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S5dJIWZ7s58)

"Well my love, let's Duet."

Slobber takes the male vocals

bnc downs her glass of vodka, this time without orange juice, before Krestov is off. When she sees Slob's choice, she grins broadly.
Leaning back next to Gerhardt, she listens to the two of them singing, then starts a conversation in a very soft voice. "And you, Gerhardt, what are your plans after all of this is finished? I guess, it will change matters for you, too."

Gerardt replied with a surprisingly sober tone: "Hm, I guess I'll try to finish the project, restore my reputation and get a promotion. After that... who knows. S-K has some very sweet incentives and I might get noticed by the big boss. Ideally, I'll get a posting on my old research vessel. "It's way to early to speak about it, but yes, it's actually about both those things. I have a hunch that hearing and receiving information from their peers enhances their cognitive abilities to the level of sentience. The larger the group the more intelligent they get - which is precisely the opposite of humans."
Gerhardt smiled. "We still know so little about the Sixth World and still more an more new beings and things appear. It's a great time to be a researcher and scientist."

Krestov was a bit off guard as he was linked into the mic system...and then he didn't even know the song, but as the lyrics came into his AR view, and seeing their ork friend really dive into it, the troll smiled as he stood, winking to their employer and the ladies before chiming in at his part.

It was a bit jumpy at first, but as he got into the swing of it, the hilarity of his deep baritone voice, combined with a curious pronunciation of the words, produced quite a hilarious image as the two men danced to the beat.

"It's never too early to share thoughts. Believe me, I won't steal your idea. If I'm ever going to study at a university, it's definitely not going to be parabiology. But your idea is intruiging. Are you talking of a kind of ... well, a kind of distributed cognitive network? Or do you perceive each whale as an individual, but you think they prosper from sharing their experiences and thoughts in a harmonious way humans are obviously incapable of? Do you base your hypothesis on research on the matter, or is it an entirely new approach?" bnc seems indeed fascinated  by the topic. Obviously, she hasn't had any thouroughly academic conversations in a while. Also, she seems to be quite comfortable in Gerhardt's presence.

When the two fighters are done with their duet, bnc grids broadly and claps your hands. "You guys are amazing. I would never be that brave!

He stood straight back up, mimed a mic drop and issued a simple challenge. "Top that."

Anna said softly "Next person to complain has a shot of vodka - this was too much like sober bnc."  Anna took another sip from her drink and then bent over toward bnc, allowing the young decker a brief view into her cleavage and asked softly "Would you like them to be real?" clearly she was not looking for a concrete answer, she just enjoyed how bnc's eyes broke the decker's tough appearance.  (or didn't they?). At any case, Anna felt amused as she straightened up and to preserve that initial buzz she had going for her, she took a long sip from her beer.

bnc sits down on the bed, leaving some space for Anna to sit beside her (another possibility would be to take the really comfortable-looking decking seat in front of her desk). Their is something timid about her behavior.
"Uhm, you mean, just now back in the clinics. They are so awesome. So awesome! I had them give me cybereyes, with all choos and zangs. They are fry, honey. I can now see in the dark."

She was a tiny bit jealous always being the only one without a data jack, or better digestive system or a sleep regulator or augmented intellect. She could do magic, yes, but most of the time she was the least augmented of the bunch - augmentations were the forbidden fruits - she could not have them without giving up some of her talents - and she worked so hard for these.  Anna took a seat next to bnc and asked "See in the dark, you mean heat signatures? How does it pass? Is it like reds and blues or does it feels like normal vision? Can you now see through clothes? Can I have a closer look?"  She hesitantly leaned toward bnc.
Title: Re: Panzerknacker Sidethread

"No, something more ordinary. It basically mimics the way cats' or elves' eyes work. They make better use of what light there is. So, I cannot see in absolute dark. But where in the Sixth World is there ever absolute dark?
And no, I can't see through clothes. I actually need people to take them off..."

As Anna leans forward to take a closer look, bnc's eyes turn an intrigueing, dark violet, with an artistic yet discreet pattern of black spots and lines, which seems to move in a slow, almost hypnotic pattern.

bnc grins. "Now, take a look..."
Suddenly, something strange happens. bnc opens her eyes wide, then you hear a faint pop and then bnc's left eyeball leaves the socket. bnc grins widely at you, the right eye looking at you, while there's only a red, wet hole where her left eye was just moments ago. Softly whirring, the eye flies towards you, then circles you once, before it returns to bnc, who puts it back into the socket, blinks, rolls the eye back into position, and smiles at you.
"Gross, n'est-ce pas?

Anna scoffed, "It is nice to see that you think so highly of me. " She took a deep breath and then said "Yes, I party a lot and sleep around a bit, there is nothing like having sex after a night of dancing. Especially if my partner is appreciative of the opportunity to slot me. "

She paused "...but I do have very a clear type. You need to understand, I can use my magic to make anyone I choose to sleep with very attractive. This fundamentally changes what I look for in people, suddenly different qualities become attractive for me. "

bnc smiles, but it's not really an affected smile. "Ah, what a convenient preference this is when you're talking to me. Have you even considered - not as actually an option, but just considered for a moment - not to tell what you think it is would flatter me, but to just say something that resembles the actual truth?
Tell me, if it's cybered-up geniuses you like, what was it that turned you so horny when you almost head the chance to lay that super-rich sadist Whitman? She shrugged "Whitman was not really my taste, he was trying too hard.  He was arrogant and full of himself. Planting the drugs in his car felt invigoring - in a way, I did fuck him alright. I should have left there - but we had this ridiculous idea that if I break something  - he will sue the artist Anna. What did it for me and made sleeping with him so pleasant,  was what I did before that...  I stole his SOK thingy without him noticing, even Schmidt said I did a good work.  I took a wealthy, brilliant and more powerful mage - and I stole from him right in front of his nose.
Can you imagine how aroused it made me feel?   Sure I fucked him, and every time he pumped me felt like a victory dance to me. It was intense - and the anticipation of robbing him again soon enhanced the pleasure.  Still, I don't imagine myself dating Zola under normal circumstances. He feels too much of an improved and more successful version of myself.

So I named two guys that I do not find particularly attractive and confessed that I find stealing erotic.
As for you my lovely Sprinklers... Yes you are my heroine and saved my ass twice already.
You do this matrix magic which deeply impresses me. You are a genius and augmented and have all the things that I cannot have. Yes, I am attracted to you, but you are kind of a jerk.

There are some things that I really do not like about you - so don't take it like you are the perfect woman and I live to please you. First, you have low self-esteem. You think that since I wanted to slot you, I have no standards and would sleep with anyone for a smile. I am not like that at all... You know that I am not like that, you have seen how nervous I was before Zola.

Second,  I am trying to be your friend but you either have this abusive dark side.
Yes, I am a willow - I bend and shake it off and move on... but I will not chase you forever you know.

The last one of your deficits is actually kind of adorable... you seem convinced that you are straight woman but I've seen how you looked at me."

bnc again smiles at your words, but you can tell it's a mask. A person who knows people as well as Anna recognizes that she might have hit a spot somewhere during her speech, and bnc wears a mock smile to hide it.

"I do a have a low self-esteem? Jizz, no, I know what I'm worth, I just don't bluster around. Maybe it's some kind of projection. You think, because you believe the whole world would love nothing more than ejaculate inside your cunt, everyone should do the same. And no, it's not that I think you'd slot everyone because you go after me. It's because everytime we go anywhere at all, you always talk about how underfucked you are and that you don't want to miss the chance of getting laid. Having sex with you is about as exclusive as eating at a Stuffer Shack, only a  bit nicer, I presume.
You evaded my question. Who out of this list would you not fuck:
me
Dr. Schmidt
Slobbertooth
Krestov
Flatline - maybe now he turned you down, but you were definitely interested in him
Kite
You may think of anyone else if you can remember any mutual acquaintances you'd have not taken. See, I'm trying not to misjudge you.

One more thing I would find interesting: Does it actually turn you on that I'm a jerk to you? Do you maybe enjoy getting insulted?"
At the end of her monologue, she pauses to give you time to answer. She appears to feel safer, more comfortable now. Back in her turf, so to say.

Anna thinks "Interesting... she is doing the jealous girlfriend act again."
She genuinely smirks when Bnc mentions Flatline, trying not to suppress a laugh.

She seems pensive as if deeply considering it and then declares "No, there is nobody on this list that I feel like slotting...
With a pause, she said "and I find it insulting that you included *Flatline* in that list...The only one paralyzed by the sight of an attractive woman to the point that he could not just take an escort girl out and then fuck her. We have nothing in common...  "

Feeling a bit evil she added
"Well... I would totally slot my university roommate Irene, she studies law and is super hot."
She places her hand on Bnc's hip and sensually described " Oh, I Imagine myself slipping my hand under the skirt of her well-tailored suit." She quickly removes the hand, stands up and moves to the decker seat.  With just a hint of anger, she adds "You can use your technical skills to search for her. Tell me if you agree that she is hot...  and if I ever do get the opportunity to slot Irene. You can hack my comlink and watch us - for my safety of course. Then you can judge us wacky bisexuals when you are alone."

"No, it does not turn me on that you insult me, it turns me on that you save my ass. At least then you are somewhat respectful - except when you fry a comlink right in my hand.
Look bnc, I had the worst night coming here - it started with great promise and ended up with me packing my things frustrated and hating the world. My entire life is changing, right now. I spent the last five years with the same fake SIN making friends with a bunch of people that would have never talked to me if they knew that I am a SINless thief.

The only one that knows something is Irene, the rest will just think that I disappeared. Even to Irene, the only thing I told was that I am going to my grandmother to practice my guitar skills and that I'll be back when I think I am good enough. Basically, anyone that ever knew me as 'Anna' is gone forever.

So yes, I came here underfucked, frustrated and feeling a kind of lonely that I have never felt before. No I do not like your torments and insults but right now they distract me of me feeling so miserable, and no it is not that mission. That SIN would have been burned the moment I graduated - that illusion of a life could not last for much longer. Do not worry though, that Bloodmage has cured me of my loneliness and of my lesbianism. He fucked me up really good and we can hang around without me flashing my pussy to every single one of your colleagues.

What I wanted you to ask you Sprinklers if you really are not interested in me, why are you so worried about how selective I am with the people I sleep with?

bnc raises an eyebrow. "You're saying you wouldn't fuck Gerhardt? C'mon, you're lying...
bnc doesn't react when Anna puts her hand on her hip, nor when she moves away. She only follows her with her eyes.
"Now, I have to put some digits in order. You seem to interpret a lot I didn't say.
First, I don't judge bisexuals. Why would I? I've done some crazy drek myself. Girls doing girls are something quite common, at least where I come from. I have a hard time imagining a good fuck without a good prick, but I don't judge lesbos at all.
Second, I never said that I'm entirely not interested in you.
Third - just to avoid misunderstandings - I didn't say that I'm interested in you either. I said none of these things.
Fourth, I might be about the only one who knows your true name. This is still nothing personal. Knowing things is my business.
Fifth, I'm glad Zola did you well. Maybe I should try him too. He's mostly my type.
Sixth ... I'm not worried about your sexuality... I-.

bnc stops, thinking. "I don't know. Maybe it's just because I find it disgusting."
The last sentence she says with an air of reflection. It's more as she's talking to herself than to you. Difficult to say whether she's really reflecting about the issue or just trying to insult Anna again.

Anna sigh "I think that Gerhardt is your fantasy bnc, not mine. Admit it,  you clearly have a soft spot for him." She watched bnc with interest and then said "Gerhardt also knows, that is he was kind of douchy to address me as Yael when I introduced myself as Anna with the name that matched my SIN. Still, it is kind of nice of you to know." . When bnc mentions disgust she shrugs "Please Bianca, enough with the insults."

"All right. I've been an asshole long enough. Peace."
bnc smiles reassuringly. "I'll try and behave. Jeez, sometimes I don't know myself why I keep behaving like this.
Pepper Plus?"

bnc gets up and walks over to the fridge.

"Sure..." said Anna, which was actually surprised by bnc's reaction. Opening the can she said  Mind if I ask about Gerhardt? It is alright if you want to talk about something else"

"I actually thought we should get started on that biomonitor thingy, but sure: ask ahead."
Title: Re: Panzerknacker Sidethread
Post by: gilga on <09-21-17/1425:28>
Anna suggested "I can spot it while we talk, can be fun. Kind of like a kinky hide and seek game."
Then she asked  "Gerhardt seems fond of you, don't you think?"
Title: Re: Panzerknacker Sidethread
Post by: Volker on <09-21-17/1607:39>
"Okay, I'll try and explain the theory to you. Have you switched on Astral Perception? Ah, and as for Gerhardt ... I doubt it. I mean, yes, he's polite and stuff. We even went out for one evening... But he's too professional. You know, never fuck with your team and stuff. It's not that I really find him hot. I just like him. It's not the nice guys that usually turn me on.
Now. The biomonitor..."

(Let's just skip that part and continue after Anna's confident she can find it in someone else. Shall we?)
Title: Re: Panzerknacker Sidethread
Post by: gilga on <09-21-17/1626:34>
Anna is a very preceptive and skilled assenser - after about 10 minutes she reliably spots the biomonitor when augmented and it takes 20 more minutes to learn how to do so without the improve intuition spell.
"What kind of guys do turn you on then?" she asked.

bnc finishes her first can of Pepper Plus, then walks over to the fridge to get another one.
"I honestly don't know. I don't seem to have a type ... Also, the question is: Turn me on in what situation for what purpose? I'm ... I'm difficult, sexually. I don't think this is a great topic... I'm not even sure if I could answer these questions if I wanted to."
She opens the can and takes a deep sip, offering you another one with a gesture.

"These questions," Anna thought - "but I only asked one... Perhaps she was referring to the elephant in the room... us" She replied " It seems like you do not understand yourself very much. Difficult to read too..."  She looked hesitant but continued  I...mean... thought you were digging me the day we met.
Most people that look at me as intensely are very interested. Silly me...

So tell me... where did you study decking? Did you go to university or anything?"

Title: Re: Panzerknacker Sidethread
Post by: Volker on <09-22-17/0302:02>
bnc sighs. "I really don't want to sound arrogant or something, but it is rather difficult to understand me. My thrives, my emotions ... they are usually way more complex than others'. I occupied myself with psychology, and I deem myself quite witty, but sometimes I just don't make any sense to myself. It's a bit like the square root of minus one - it's complex!

I'm too young to have ever attended a university. I haven't even really finished school, which is a problem, because I want to study. So either I manage to finish a school here asap, or I need a real good fake SIN who did. I learned at the Saeder Krupp HTL1 in Leonding, a small town in Upper Austria. It's a technical school where we train our young chicken to be corp software developers. The hacking stuff - well she winks "I read a manuel"

1 It's pronounced German. The sound resembles an English "hut a al".
Title: Re: Panzerknacker Sidethread
Post by: gilga on <09-22-17/0406:47>
"Oh, I barely know what a square root is" she laughed "I never studied beyond reading, education was mainly about how to solicit people to give me money. Either with pitty, entertainment or with plain stealing, usually a combination of the two.  Tried to avoid prostitution though but it is kind of a touchy subject because I did sleep with people to get food or shelter or to feed my lazy ass brother. If I want something I just get it, right here and right now. Even thinking about the future is dangerous, this is the kind of thinking I grew up into. Not to say that my own emotions are simple, people are complicated but you have this intellect and matrix skill - you are capable of deeper thoughts and have way too much information. Perhaps this is part of why you are like that, not that it matters it is difficult to change.

You probably know it, but I am/was studying 'magic for practitioners' for the last four years.   It is a deeply practical with minimal academic requirements. Still, I am busting my ass and am struggling - I am good in practice but the academic topics are very difficult. Had to hook up with some serious criminals to get a fake, no real SIN so - no real point in graduating and no real hope of decent work.

How old are you by the way? "
Title: Re: Panzerknacker Sidethread
Post by: Volker on <09-22-17/0525:14>
"Oh. It's supposed to be a word joke. See, you call any multiple of square root of minus one a 'complex number'. As every number pow 2 is a positive number, there's nothing supposed to be like a complex number. Anyway, there is something like that, apparently. Anyway. Complex? Complex number? You get it? Never mind.

Please don't tell me you were allowed to study in the US without having ever learned 'beyond reading'...

I'm 20 by now. Jeey, I'm growing up, I s'pose. I was 19 when Special K brought me to the US. Meanwhile, I'm some blood mages older. I'm even talking like a grown-up.

So ... I'm going to get to try out that spell of yours for real?"

Since Anna didn't respond to the offer, bnc shrugs, closes the fridge and walks over to her working table.

Anna takes the second one (meant to write it but then edited away).  She laughs with empressement and says "I got by with some charm and slight of hand... Not the most honest of me - but well I never went to school, to begin with so.
The program itself is pretty much watered down most of the non-essential stuff. Smart people go to study universal magic theory and paths like that. Magic for practitioners is the bottom of the food chain - the approach is to introduce methods 'that work' without any deep reasons as to why. Most of the people there are going to be low-grade wage mages and come from the less privileged background. Offcourse, they seem very much privileged to me. "

"Real impressive the Blood mage thing - seems terrifying. Were you in actual danger - or off-site?"
She took a large sip from her PP can. Anna felt already a bit tipsy.
About the magic she said "Yes, of course - lets do magic...  I think you will enjoy it... I wouldn't know what to ask."

"You Americans call really everything an university, huh? In Austria, that would even be a high school..."

bnc rummages around in her laboratory. "You in for a pill or something?"

She opens the lid of a small plastic box, pondering. "No, I was not off-site. You remember what got me that nice nickname of yours? It was when I took out that bastard with a cleaning drone and sprinklers."
She smiles. "It was a nightmare."

When bnc suggests a pill, Anna replies "m... sure hit me.", then out of the blue she asks "Would you still like me to take my panties off? Or was that calendar entry just a tease.

bnc smiles a strange smile. You can hardly see it, since she's still turned to her lab. From the chair on, you only perceive bnc's profile.
She then turns towards her. "Ever heard of Ketamine? Or Tussionex?"
She grins a wide smile, although a strange one. You can sense a trace of insecurity in it.
Title: Re: Panzerknacker Sidethread
Post by: gilga on <09-23-17/0450:36>
"I've heard of Ketamine alright - this is why I find the nickname Special K so hilarious - this is how people call Ketamine where I grew up... No idea what the other stuff is... Which is safer and which gives you the courage to kiss me."

"I'm positive that Special K and Special K would give a terrific combination. You gotta try it out once!"
She grins, then answers matter-of-factly. "Why decide? Take 'em both.
We should take a piss before. Ket might lead to incontinence if we're unlucky. I'll prepare it shortly."
bnc vanishes into the bathroom and returns about two minutes later, leaving the door open for you while she leans over her lab.

"Both it is... you are the expert" she said. Anna enters the bathroom and does what bnc suggests... she is the expert after all. She is disappointed with the soap when she washes her hands. While bnc works Anna approaches her and starts rubbing her shoulders.

For an instant, bnc just lets her come closer, then she pushes her away. "Woah, easy. I'm not ready yet. Jeez, hoo..."
She takes a step back. "Uh, sorry. That wasn't meant to be rude. I just..."
bnc hesitates, thinks. "You're just not my type, really. And ... I wanna do it anyway. Jeez, I sound like a pup. And like a chipsie. And maybe I am. Both.
Ket."

bnc takes up the straw to sniff in the Ket and Tussy.
Title: Re: Panzerknacker Sidethread
Post by: gilga on <09-26-17/1420:24>
Anna's smile widened "Mindfuck it is Sprinklers... Take me to the moon." she augmented bnc's charisma and then took a straw and sniffed the drugs. "Feeling sexier doll?" she asked. She was not certain how long she could sustain the spell but once she drops it both of them will be in a different state of mind.

bnc toasts with her straw, "On mindfuck!", and draws in her line. She wipes her nose with the back of her hand and exhales one swift breath. Then the spell hits her.
"Jeeez... I sure am addicted to life!"
She flashes a grin, already showing signs of the combination of Ket, the spell and a portion of placebo. "Now, have you been a good girl and behaved?", she asks with a kinky grin.

Anna dropped to her knees, "Yes, Sprinklers..." she says, she reaches out with her hands and stroke bnc's legs and then take her shoes off. She felt a strange form of excitement rushing through her veins."Seat here, I'll be right back..." she hinted to the super comfortable decker seat. Anna brought a towel, a bowl of water and washed bnc's legs. She began massaging the legs with dedication while kneeling on the floor by the chair.

Anna continues working on the feet, and when bnc mentions other men Anna replies "shhh... only happy thoughts". After a while, when she feels that bnc is relaxed  enough  Anna said "Now you are in for a treat.". She then placed bnc's toe in her mouth and gently sucked it.
