Armor Mod Test?

So I'm running a new game, and one of the players has asked me a question about something in Chummer that I cannot find the answer to.  A lot of the armor mods have a listing for Test, which I don't know what it means.  For example, Thermal Damping shows:

Test:  2 (10, 1 Day)

What does this mean?  I found in the book that the rating of this particular modification adds to any Infiltration tests, but I can't find what this Test means.  Can someone help me understand what this is please?

I assume it's for the build and repair test to install that stuff into your existing armor

What version do you have? Mine has the test at 0 (10, 1 day).

The zero might just be a placeholder. The parentheses describe an Extended test. You make one roll, such as Armorer, per interval and count the hits you get. Once you meet/beat the threshold (the first number) you've completed it. 
Yeah, TMs got thrown in the cell with Bubba the Love Troll and sandpaper for lube.
