Hi guys,

I know it's pretty far from my usual fare (and Shadowrun's general tone), but all the same, last year I ran a Kickstarter to help me produce my first RPG book (as more than just a freelance writer), Strays.  Designed to be family friendly, powered by Fate Accelerated, and featuring a tone (and artwork) designed to make it easy for kids to pick up and understand -- as a less violent introduction to gaming for younger gamers -- Strays was successfully Kickstarted, distributed to backers, and, finally, is now available for sale.

You can check it out here at DriveThruRPG: http://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/169261/Strays.  Take a look, and if you like what you see, toss me a few bucks, thanks.  Spread the word if you have gamer buddies with kids getting close to gaming age, and they're looking for something besides shooting cops in the face or fireballing rooms full of goblins, cool?  :)

I just missed backing your KS - I was so bummed; my daughter loves animals and reads a lot of fiction adventure stories about them. So, I'll be jumping on this!  :)

Two questions - will a hard copy be available down the road? And any chance any Paw Dice will be up for sale as well?

Looking forward to checking it out!

Thanks for the interest, and I'm glad you were able to snag the ebook.  :)

Uploading the necessary files for their print-on-demand is a stickier wicket than uploading the e-book PDF.  I'm planning on it eventually, but there's more work involved and every publisher needs this stuff done differently, so it's taking me a little bit to get things ready, there.

On the dice front, I've got a hoard of them leftover from that initial run, and we plan on putting them up for sale when we get a webstore (and blog, and blah blah blah) up and running, someday.  My wife's been working on getting a webpage up and going, and we'll be tackling all of that as her schedule allows.

If you want a fairly easy webpage system with the ability to have purchasable items, check out moonfruit.

It's cheap and while nothing flashy, it gets the job done.

We use it for our course bookings and pretty much set it up ourselves as we were tired of getting shafted repeatedly by so called web designers and their systems.
Do you believe in a greater WIRELESS, an Invisible(WiFi) All Seeing(detecting those connected- at least if within 100'), All Knowing(all online data) Presence that we can draw upon for Wisdom(downloads & updates), Strength (wifi boni) and Comfort (porn) or do you turn your back on it  (Go Offline)?

Thanks for the heads up, Sendaz.  We're both just busy juggling other stuff right now (including two major SR projects due in the next three weeks or so).  Wordsmith Games isn't designed to be my breadwinner or anything, it's just my little solo company for when I get an idea and have the time to work on it, and Mrs. Crit is always plenty busy with her job, too.  It's a back-burner sort of thing for us, that we're hammering on when we're able.
