I tried to make some worthwhile drugs with the new Chrome Flesh rules. So far it seems that every good combat drug will severely weaken your muscles (there are a lot of blocks that lower STR and only one to raise it)
But generally custom drugs are useless as combat drugs since very few combats are longer than 3 combat rounds and speed enhancers will produce so addictive substances that you can just put a bullet in your own brain and save you the pain.


My best product so far is "Mule" (Warrior Foundation + Stonewall 3)
+2 Willpower, no side effects. 7R 135NY per dose

Useful as a "On your feet" medication in your auto injector is
Tank+Brute 1 and a prepared Bodyguard BTL (Target: Self)
with +3 Body and +1 Will you hopefully will come back from overflow damage.

Since we have no idea (my guesses are up on my thread about them) how the Addiction Ratings or Addiction Thresholds work..... I don't see how you do you figure we can use this yet. Did you find the missing Text that goes with the Table to explain the * on it?

Nope, therefore I did not calculate the rating and threshold.
Personally, I think it's Level -1 of each block to rating and threshold.

A less powerful version of a recent failure to develop a new combat drug.  Ripped from the data core of a pharmacorp, it was discovered to be more successful as a two stage drug.  Along with the formula, a number of possible applications was also released.  The most scary, or interesting depending on who reads it, is what is being called juicing.  Stage 1 is a hit Jazz , Stage 2 is an injection of Rigged, and finally a hit of Guts.

A new drug being developed to compete with Kamikaze and Jazz, Blaze has found a following within gangers.  The short duration and incapacitating nature when the drug wears off prohibit any serious consideration by anyone else.

Just last night I was reading through the custom drug section of Chrome Flesh and asking myself, "When was that thread with the custom drugs? Right when Chrome Flesh first came out, right? Arrgh, [because I am lazy and insufficiently motivated] I'll never find it."

Adamo1618: I don't think we double the price and reduce threshold.  Since custom drugs are at minimum pharma grade, isn't that included in the cost and threshold when creating them?  Considering the price of the rest of the drugs out there, it seems like it is.

Stoneglobe:  I'm calculating Arclight's AR at 9 and TH at 5.  So, a little bit less of a hard core drug. :)  If you drop the duration down by 1 level, the AR goes to 8 and TH to 4 which is a lot more friendly. 30min to 3hrs duration with an average of 1hr 45min seems decent.

A slightly hallucinogenic drug made from a variety of "only the highest quality" chemicals.  It effects the pleasure centers of the brain, and gives the user a relaxed, sensual feel.  Users tend to be much more agreeable and calm, with similar physical effects as Ex.  The side-effects however, are muscle weakness and reduced coordination along with a slight feeling of dizziness.  This often results in users walking with a bit of a swagger.  Very much a "turn on and tune out" kind of drug.  As a bonus, the relaxed and calm state seems to make it easier for shamans and other magicians to channel mana without getting burnt.  After the high runs out though, the feeling of dizziness and disorientation is strengthened, resulting in 4S damage, unresisted.

I don't recall the price; I made this as a run reward for helping a voodou drug dealer.

For super cheap, Genius (F) by itself is still good.  75n for +2 Logic and +2 Intuition for a small physical penalty.
