But it is really hard to say. The guns from GH3 just may be of lesser quality, and thus lesser penetration. Haven't looked at GH3 yet so I can't get more into it, but sonetimes the write ups give a clue as to the quality of a weapon.

Of course I also made all SMGs ap -1 to make them worth picking up. But that’s a different story

In most cases it makes some logical sense, the sbd-44 is a lower quality weapon of significant age, the monsoon has a rather short barrel length of 43 cm with 20 rounds stacked in the barrel, the inception is also likely a short barrel judging by the position of the magazine, all things that affect penetrative power vs armor.
