Not a Trideo Pirate.. a Proper Pirate!

I've been playing around with some ideas on making a Rigger, and have kept on getting stuck on making characters that are TOO specialized into a narrow niche.  You don't want a character who only uses a hammer, because not every shadowrun is a nail!

The schitck that carried me through to completion through chargen was a twist on the "wheelman" niche to be primarily nautical.  This character still doesn't have a TON to offer outside of being the getaway driver, but if the run happens to be on or near the water he's got some unusual abilities to bring to the table.

Does he seem too one dimensional?


Edit:  I see the formatting didn't quite put EVERYTHING up there.  For example, the Steel Lynx has a MMG and a Netgun, whereas the vehicles are (for now) unarmed... the battletruck has gun ports... those have far more offensive potential until after chargen when the 14F heavy weapon mount mods come available :D
and the most fun idea I had was for the Steel Lynx.. it's smoke generators are armed with NeuroStun gas :D  The Sammie won't appreciate me triggering that while he's around... but it'd be great for covering the team's escape if the balloon went up!

I'm ashamed to admit it:  I totally didn't think of putting an amphibious/submersible secondary motive package on the Roadmaster :D

+2 acceleration was hella expensive... dumping that and the drone rack paid for the submersible motive AND I got +1 to handling and speed each to boot!  Vastly better expenditure of resources, there.  I don't even think the drone rack will be missed... an Ares Roadmaster is basically a deuce and a half... I can put the Steel Lynx in the back AND still have room for an entire shadowrunning team...

I also got rid of the gun ports... because reasons.  Seemed like begging for a disaster on a submersible :D  Besides, with 18 body and 18 armor the thing is a wrecking ball.  Best offensive use is to just ram things :D  best of all, with 36 dice to resist I can just buy 9 hits without rolling to soak 18/2 damage every time I ram something!

Nothing to be ashamed of. I had a player who bought and modded a GMC Phoenix for submersed traveling. He and his best friend took it to the bottom of a lake just to test it and get high.
