I need some clarification on the Attune Item Metamagic. Does the weapon count as magical for avoiding Immunity to Normal Weapons? It recently came up in a game and my first instinct was to allow it, since it was a mystic ritual and you spend Karma on it. Opinions please.

I don't believe it does; it is supernatural only on the side of the user.
I believe for it to be actually magical you'd need to imbue the item.
Still, whatever floats your boat; I don't see it as damaging to balance either way.
Still waiting on a Vector-Thrust Liminal Body.

What about Imbued Items? Would they work to bypass Immunity to Normal Weapons.

No, just as the Dumpshock guys said, you aren't making an item "magical" by attuning it nor imbuing it.

Immunity To Normal Weapons is very specific, "...weapon foci, spells, and adept or critter powers function normally." Attuned weapons, even Imbued ones, are none of those.
