Do you ever spend hours, days, perhaps years cooking up a character in your brain, giving it life, Narrating it’s origin story in your mind as you do the math.
Obsessively working to get every little thing to fall in line.
If you still use paper, Writing and erasing furiously. Going through legal pads and post it notes at breakneck speed. Decimating forests with the cast off failed prototypes littering the floor around you.
And then, after days of totally satisfying yet ultimately pointless obsession, the character is done. The numbers are where they belong. The gear is listed. There she is, in all of her 2 dimensional glory.
She’s finally done....and she is gorgeous.
Soon I’m going to get her typed up and show her to the group so you can all break her down for an optimized rebuild.
Now I just need to find a game.
