We have a new group to the game. After reading the faq I looked on drivethroughrpg.com and found 6 season 5 and 2 season 6 adventures. Are these the only ones available currently for mission play? If not where would I find more adventures that are sanctioned?

Also available on DriveThruRPG that I could find:

The CMPs (Convention Missions Packs) are missions designed for play at conventions, but they're slowly being compiled and published and they're basically like the main SRM line except they have their own story arcs.  (I have no hard info, but I can only imagine there's a plan to print them all eventually.)  A couple other CMP compilations (Sprawl Wilds and Firing Line) came out in softcover only at conventions; someone might still have one for sale but it may be hard to find.

Other than that, you'd have to play at a convention or find a nearby CDT agent to run one that has been run at conventions but not released.  All six Season 6 adventured have debuted at cons (and 8 CMPs per year since 2013), but only the first two Season 6 missions have been put up for sale so far.  (We're working on them!)
Guiding principle for game balance:  Players avoid underpowered stuff and flock to overpowered stuff.

My quick search of DriveThruRPG showed that Firing Line and Sprawl Wilds are available there as PDF as well. (These 2 are stated for 4th and 5th edition, some changes may need to be made as these were released in PDF WAY before many of the books came out.

Just my two cents to help that unless you are running with a time limit you can draw out a mission a bit with more roleplay opportunities or I believe that some of the missions have 'pushing the limits' subsections that help you ramp up the difficulty or draw out the mission with just more things cropping up in the mission to keep it going.  Even if you are on a time limit if you aren't in convention setting nothing says you can't stop after a certain scene then come back a week or a month later finish the mission do the paperwork and dive right into the next one and stopping maybe only one scene in.  Again just my observation, others who have actually ran the them may make better insights into them.

Are there any downloads you need to make these cmp missions playable for missions play in addition to either the hard copy or PDF? Are they playable outside of big conventions? Lastly, are there missions log sheets for them with money; street cred; karma and contact info for missions players?

It takes a while for SRMs and CMPs to get released to the general public for purchase. Normally, only CDT Agents get access to them.

Sprawl Wilds, London Falling and Firing Line(?) are all CMP collections... I think there may be a couple more now?

We could have spared the centaurs.

We could have used our stunballs.

We could have used stick n shocks.

Shock gloves. Unarmed Strikes.  A literal plethora of non-lethal options.

We could have. We really could.

We didn't. We really didn't.

Never thought i'd edge a Peacekeeper mentor check.
