Any info re product releases (early or con-specific) for Origins this year? I can't attend, but a friend has been kind enough to offer to do a little shopping on my behalf ;D

Run & Gun as well as Fire & Frost have been spotted. I saw the same red leather cover as was used for SR5, so it might mean the LE version of Run & Gun is at Origins. Or it might mean that there are LE copies of the SR5 at the show.

Absolute power is kinda neat.

It frustrates me to no end that the people who preorder their books months in advance do not receive the materials before someone fortunate enough to live near a convention site. On a side note, has there been any word on the introductory box being released soon? We were told to expect this product in the spring of 2013, then we were told to expect it in March, now we will probably have to wait until after Gencon so they have something "Flashy" to relase 15 months late.

Yeah, I have a feeling that along with the print release of Stolen Souls is being saved up for Gencon.

Only other reason I can think of on why the big releases of 2014 haven't been released in print form yet: they're saving them up to be released all at once.

Isn't it possible that they simply don't have enough to justify the expense of shipping them out?  Taking a few of the products with you is hardly the same thing as shipping out thousands of copies all over the world.

My guess us that these are a small part of the print run these chose to air freight in order to have for the con. Or, they could be a separate print tun using local sourcing. I don't really have much issue with it...helps promote the game at the venue. It would get nice if they formally said so, like last year, but... ::)

As long as there is nothing "extra" given out at the con that those of us who pre-ordered won't get (ie Run & Gun poster), I'm happy. ;D

....aaaaand I just realized what I typed was not the same as what I was thinking...ish. Oops

Actually, what I think they're doing is saving up because they want to make the announcement on the street dates all at once. But otherwise, yeah chances are that they'll stagger the print release dates.

But yeah, I'll still be shocked if the first batch of print releases of Intro Boxed Set and Stolen Souls won't be at Gencon.

Stolen Souls went up for sale at Origins on Friday.

Any mention of the box set?

Confirmed via CGL Tumblr, along with a very pretty pict:

As we did with Shadowrun, Fifth Edition, we’re also publishing a red leather bonded Limited Edition book. But this time around we’re including a cool, double sided poster with the Limited Edition, showing all the weapons from Run & Gun on the front (see below), and all the weapons from Shadowrun, Fifth Edition on the back. It’s a crazy awesome poster…
