new Bioware

Soft Nanohive
Rating                Essence                   Availability                Cost
 1-4            0.2 + (Rating x 0.2)        Rating x 6           Rating x 20,000

Like the cybernetic version, a bioware nanite hive is designed to support colonies of nanites within the body long-term, and includes minor alterations to the liver, kidneys and spleen, similar to a cyberware nanohive.  While this new organic option is easier on the system, it does have several limitations.

Firstly, a soft nanite hive can only support 2/3 the nanite colonies that a cyberware version can.  Also, because it does not have the 'brain' of it's cybernetic counterpart, it can only support 'soft' nanites, hard nanites having too complex a structure and function for the implant effectively manage them.

Soft nanohives are much more capable of pulling their required nutrients and raw materials from the blood stream, at the cost of those nutrients NOT going to the host.  The host has the option of either accepting an increase of Rating x 2.5% to their lifestile costs if they maintain a low or higher lifestile.  If they do not, or are at street or squatter lifestile, then their nanohive must be restocked with a simple injection of feedstock every 6 months costing Rating x 300.

I'm hoping I've worked this out to be fairly balanced.
