I think there is two ways to make CX work, chose between Matrix skills or Resonance skills.
If you go Matrix Skills a Dwarf work well with attributes like : 3 BOD, 2 AGI, 2 REA (karma), 3 STR, 3 CHA, 5 INT, 5 LOG, 7 WIL, 2 EDG, 3 RES.
Pick some Complex Form that doesn't require high dice like Transcendent Grid or Static Veil. Invest most of your skill points into Computer, Electronic Warfare, Hacking and Cybercombat and try to invest some (and complete with Karma) into Software, Hardware, Perception, Sneaking and a Gun skill. You should be able to make a pretty decent Matrix guy especially with 7 WIL to resist Data Spikes. You will be weak physically but you can't have everything.
If you go Resonance human would be best but Dwarf still work with a high WIL to soak the fading. Basically you focus on using Sprites to do the work with some complex form to help. The advantage is that you only need WIL as an attribute so you can combine it with any archetype (gunner, face, infiltration) using Machine Sprite to boost your equipment and for skills you need Software (not necessarly super high depending on which Complex Form you use), Compiling and Registering. Even as a Dwarf with 4 Resonance you still throw 10 dice to compile sprite (12 if you take a Specialization), should be enough to compile a Rating 6 Sprite (registering would be trickier though).
Also I feel like an Aspected Summoner would fit perfectly in those CCCCC builds, maybe a possession one for extra fun? Of course there is no reason but for fun to go for an Aspected at C…
