New enhanced fiction release, Wolf & Buffalo:

WAKING SPIRITS

The Sixth World doesn’t give people much time to grow up. Whoever you are, wherever you live, there’s going to come a time when the world is going to throw you some serious curveballs, and if all you can do is bitch and moan about how you’re not ready for what’s coming your way, you’re not going to last long. Get strong, grow up, and figure out how to survive—that’s what everyone else has done. Except for those lying two meters underground.

One of those tests is about to hit Lena, a young woman living in the Sioux Nation. She’s going to learn a lot about how life in the Sixth World works, and just how far people will go to get what they want, but before she can process any of that, she is going to have to survive criminals, smugglers, and worse. She doesn’t have much to help her, except for some new powers she does not understand. Using them, and drawing on some unexpected allies, is the only way she will live out the day.

Wolf and Buffalo is original short fiction for Shadowrun, Fifth Edition, and part of the Shadows in Focus: Sioux Nation collection of books—though you don’t need to read anything else to enjoy the story!

dangit, have not even gotten around to Borrowed Time yet and he has another out already?

Looks good though...
Do you believe in a greater WIRELESS, an Invisible(WiFi) All Seeing(detecting those connected- at least if within 100'), All Knowing(all online data) Presence that we can draw upon for Wisdom(downloads & updates), Strength (wifi boni) and Comfort (porn) or do you turn your back on it  (Go Offline)?

This is a shorter piece, Enhanced Fiction, rather than a full novel, at least.  :)

But yeah, she writes like a fiend.

I have mixed feelings about this product. Don't get me wrong the story is great, I just find the enhanced part lacking. No new crunch or information, just NPC stats.
Now had there been information and stats for White Buffaloes and/or the Buffalo mentor spirit it would have been perfect. Or more information about poacher organizations and the groups that hunt them.  Even more about backwater Sioux Nation would have been plenty.
As it is the product adds nothing new except for fantastic fiction to the game.
If Tom Brady’s a Spike Baby, what does that make Brees and Rodgers?

Hi PiXeL01,

Glad you enjoyed the fiction! There's quite a bit more crunchy stuff about the Sioux Nation in the various other Shadows in Focus: Sioux Nation products, if you haven't already checked them out, but in any case I'm happy you liked the story at least. :)

Pixel01 was lucky to get the stats. Apparently if you buy enhanced fiction on Amazon you get no enhancement. Not that I really needed it I guess. The story was good enough that I didn't feel too cheated ;)
