I am going to physical hurl money at my monitor until they can take it.  I may need a new monitor when it comes time to hurl coins.

They should make an app that when you pay a KS with paypal it has a cutscene of throwing money at the screen where it is sucked away through the screen to the KS.
Do you believe in a greater WIRELESS, an Invisible(WiFi) All Seeing(detecting those connected- at least if within 100'), All Knowing(all online data) Presence that we can draw upon for Wisdom(downloads & updates), Strength (wifi boni) and Comfort (porn) or do you turn your back on it  (Go Offline)?

No trees were harmed in the creation of this message, but a large number of electrons were terribly inconvenienced.

Runner Havens has an 80-page chapter on Hong Kong, and it is the best city writeup after Bug City.

RH is set in 2070, but it would still work fine for the most part.

I hope HBS will do their homework and stay consistent with Runner Havens though. The paranoid fanboy in me fears they will just say "our game is set in 2050, so let's create our own version of Hong Kong" which would not be good in my opinion. But we'll see...

You know...Id rather have game from HBS to set the canon. Not that RH is bad book, exactly the oposite, it is one of my favorite, but something even co-created by Jordan Weissman is far more cannon for me, than aynthing what we can see now  :-\

Even back in the day, Jordan was not that involved in the actual writing of Shadowrun. He came up with the original idea, but the actual world and plot development was mostly done by other people (Tom Dowd, Bob Charette, etc.)
And we don't know how involved he will be with future Shadowrun Returns products. I have the impression he didn't have much to dp with Dragonfall (since he was busy with Golem Arcana).
In any case, doing your homework and being mindful of what others have contributed to the setting you're using is basic respect IMO.
But again, maybe I worry for nothing. Time will tell.

Rage? As in angry? Wonder how people would be angry at great news.

because: Kickstarter. Every Kickstarter I have ever participated or seen has resulted in rage and anger and
visciousness. Do NOT read the comments if you participate in a kickstarter..that way lies madness, because
so many people are idiots and have no clue what Kickstarter means. You will note that CGL never did their
kickstarter for the Leviathans relaunch? You know why? Because they don't have the thick skins like
Palladium does to deal with all the hate and threats..

Yeah. The CGL folks are pretty thick.

I would suggest that perhaps you've just contributed to some fucked-up Kickstarters.

Infortunately, this is all too easy today these days. I've always been pretty lucky...every one I've backed has delivered (though time frames were stretched), but some related to the RPG and gaming (miniatures and board games) are pretty damn scary (sad/disappointing).

Werewolf 20th, the reaper bones kickstarter, the Robotech tactics kickstarter..

Actually, I think the only Kickstarters I have had a positive experience in the comments section have been the Twig the Fairy
kickstarters.
