Hi all,
I have a couple of questions on Host and devices:
- So, you are a decker and you manage to create a direct connection to the device of an host. Then the device cannot use the host characteristics to resist a hack on the fly and you can hack vs device rating x 2 (so usually 4 dice). So this is no big deal for even a half decent hacker. Then can you hack on the fly several times (for example 3 times) to get 3 marks on the device and, as a consequence, the host?
- The book says that when you are connected to the WAN of a host then you are directly connected to all devices. So all these devices (for example cameras) resist with ratings x 2 only. So then hacking cameras or doors is a child's play if connected to a host. Is this correct
Thanks
