Saddest news...  and I'm kicking off the GalaxyFest sci-fi convention tonight.  I'm sure we'll be doing something for him.  Something... logical.

This news genuinely saddened my day. He seemed like a great guy and I love ST in general and Spock in particular. It's been a great journey so far. Now it's on to the final frontier for you...

First, Nimoy passes, then Pratchett. :'(  Ya' know celebrity deaths come in threes.  So whose next to kick the bucket?  Ford nearly died this week in that plane landing. :-\

You Guys may not know it , but Uğurcan Yüce also died.

He has been the Artist for most of the Covers of Das Schwarze Auge (the Dark Eye)
THE RPG  which connected (estimated) 90% of all German Fantasy Gamers.
Das Schwarze Auge had the same Impact on German Gamers as D&D had to US Gamers.
and this One Artist created all the Covers for the most played German RPG .So his death had an Impact too

Wow, I had no idea.  I loved his work.  I've only played the Dark Eye in video game format, but the world was rich, and you can tell in the video games that his work had a big impact.  That is a shame.
