@Maxwell.  You are not halfway through the door when you get a text from Amy. Your vampire (ex?) girlfiend. >> Well done,  You are a real hero... Can we meet? My ahm... Sire, has a buissness proposition for you.

@Kynos Nagisa waves goodbye and leave.
The soldier said "Sure I'll take it, not many out there. There is the boss mage that practically sleep here in the third level and he has a couple of bodyguards. In the third floor that is other than that everything is done automatically during the night. Please don't kill the guards they are blood. You already wasted half my unit, occupational hazards I guess - but heh... good luck with the vamps. "

@Irris, Simone, Maxwell None of you have seen Nyx. You are uncertain when you last saw her but she is not around now.  The building has a buissness front first floor, there are stairs and elevator which has a big hole in its floor so careful when you operate it. The second floor contains a control room, as well as a chicken farm. Third floor has the pixie farm - Nyx told you that but you have not visited it yet. If there is a medical facility on site it is on that floor as well.

@All

At any case, it is almost dawn when you capture the building. If the vamps are coming to get you they'll do so during the day which is unlikely but not unheard off. Maxwell should know enough about magic to know that it can protect these critters from the sun. Since the mage downs there is dead and burned by his own spirit. There are two living breathing guards with nothing to guard - they'll leave if you let them go and a fire spirit that did not want to kill them so it simply dematerialized to avoid combat. (This is Maxwell's new contact if he'll be nice to her.).

(Have you notified Casa/Finestra on your conquest?)

His comm started ringing the moment he puts one foot inside.  Half wondering if it was Nyx with an explanation for her absence.  Indolently fumbling for the 'link, Maxwell pulls it out from one of his pockets.  Seeing who sent the text caused him to temporarily snap out of his malaise.  Except the message itself brought about a new dreadful sense of uneasiness.  "Amy... how long have you been watching?  Did you hack the sensors on the drones, or from elsewhere?  That means... He has been watching this entire time too!  Letting me do his dirty work for him!  Can't that spineless, worthless, drek-eating fuckwad do anything on his own?  No matter.  Even if he were here in person, he couldn't stop me from what i'm going to finish today.  Soon... so very damn soon... i'll be reunited with Him.  The time I spent with Amy during the citywide lock-down wasn't all just about consoling her or helping her cope.  No I... I spent a portion of that researching.  Learning about a new way to deepen my magic.  Once I've complete the preparations we'll finally be fused whole.  The two of us together at last!  And then... and then we'll be unstoppable!  I can hardly fragging wait!"

Maxwell was getting lost in own his grandiose schemes that he'd nearly forgotten the message in the first place.  After the brief mania had passed, he compiles a response.  <<Thank you, little one.  It seems I can still hold my own after all.  But, Vixen, how long have you been watching me?  Not that I mind or anything but... hmmmm anyway.  Yes, we can.  I'm eager to accept his complete surrender.  Let me conclude my mission detail here and I'll be wherever he wants his grave dug.>>  He sent the text and lets out a heavy sigh.  Never a moments peace when he wants one.  Looking around, Maxwell still doesn't see the she-elf adept anywhere.  Feelings of paranoia started to take hold of his mind the longer she remained absent.  He didn't want to leave it to chance at this point.  Not with being so close.  He forms the image of the woman in his head and that of her aura to share with his spirit.  Once finished, Maxwell sets out a new command.  "Escort this woman safely to my location.  Kill whoever gets in the way."

Kynos called after the guard: "Would you mind fetching your buddies? They might distrust my generous offer to let them go. Better if a familiar face tells them."

'Sheesh, how the hell did I end up in a leadership position again... ah, right no-one else was dumb enough to step up.'

Kynos made sure his message to Casa and Finestra had been sent and turned to the cameras. He wasn't a particularly well versed computer user, but he did manage to establish a link between the cameras and his commlink, so he could see what they saw.

<<@Simone, take care of Sovereign and Irris, I'll be along shortly, I just need to fetch some stuff.>>
Using the drone feed he looked around on the compound until he found what he was looking for: Fresh mulch for the walk ways of the farm, made from chipped wood. Having made sure his gun was reloaded he fetched two buckets full of the stuff. He found the ventilation intake for the bunker, opened the maintenance hatch and through the wood chips down into the pipe. Longterm the bunker probably would have trouble with fungi spores in the air, but short term any vampire that tried to gas its way into it would find itself in a small pipe, suffering anaphylactic shock and being jolted back into their real form - which likely would be the end of it - and all access to the pipe. "If you fuckers are watching, don't even think about coming in that way."

Than he returned with the other bucket.

@Maxwell Amy texts >> I search for you sometimes, wandering what you've been up to. Things are never boring around you. More than that really. We are not here to fight you, just to talk. We are not far love, I could see your magnificent fireball with my own eyes. Must admit it made me especially horny - but a little sad for all these people. I am getting carried away, Grail has a buissness offer for you but you'll have to decide right now because the window to deal is closing up.

From behind one of the greenhouses, two hooded figures become visible. They are wearing some active camouflage and you must have missed them in the combat. . If Amy was not likely to be one of these figures - Maxwell might have considered another fireball and darn the consequences.
A quick glance into the astral confirms that these are Grail and Amy, and also shows no spirits around them.
The spirit nods and said - "I do not mean to argue - but finding her is a single service, you'll have to use another service once I found her  to do whatever it is you wanted to do with that gorgeous she-elf."

@Kynos and Ayato the guard ventures to the third floor and collect his comrades, it is not long before he is back with them.

@[all] Casa texts back -- We will have men showing up in a couple of hours to record the slavery evidence and prepare for court. Let them work and access the pixies- nobody else should have access to this evidence if we lose the pixies we lose the court.  Talk to nobody, I am sending Gem or Finestra if you prefer - she likes a new name in every job to prevent gossip. So call he Gem. She'll talk to police and to the suits. More updates to follow.

Torn between two hearts.  Maxwell could finally enact his revenge and have his spirit kill Grail whilst he was virtually defenseless.  But doing so would be a huge risk.  He didn't know the full extent of Grail's capabilities.  Outside of the fact he was an avid mind mage and conjurer, he was uncertain if there were more to his tricks.  This reminds him of the time Strawberry banished one of his spirits and tried to usurp control of it.  Miraculously, that gambit failed and worked against her.  Ending with Maxwell massacring the Yakuza there, and blowing up her bar in the process.  If Grail could succeed where Strawberry had failed, it wouldn't bode well for him or his team.  Not only that, but his spirit is being finicky with its services right now as well.

Sighing again.  The mage reiterates his command.  "Alright, fine.  Here's what I want.  Find her like I previously asked and that'll be your first service. I don't know if she left of her own violation and is trying to play us or if she was kidnapped while we were occupied with the assault.  Either way, it doesn't matter. For your second and last service I want you to escort her back to us.  Me specifically if you will.  That will probably involve scaring off or killing anyone else who gets in the way of finishing that task.  In fact, fighting them is optional on your part.  All that matters is that she is that she's brought here unharmed.  If someone attacks you while performing that task, by all mean, fight back."

After everything was said and done, Maxwell leaves the compound to deal with Grail, and to see Amy.  This felt like a bad idea.  Actually... scratch that.  This is definitely a bad idea.  But he was curious nonetheless.  They've both been waiting here at the farm.  For how long he wondered?  Close enough to witness his teams engagement with the site's security.  Or at least close enough to witness him roasting the guards on hand.  Maxwell could feel his heart pump excessively as adrenaline coursed through his veins.  Along with a wretched pit forming in his stomach due to anxiety acid.  Might be more accurate to call it a hateful pileup of bile.  Still, he pressed on as he did until the three of them met.  Finally standing before the cloaked pair.  Maxwell's the first to break the silence.  "I can help you with that terrible affliction you call a life.  All you have to do is release Amy."

@Maxwell Amy and Grail wear some sort of chameleon suit with ruthenium polymer, with the state of the matrix they were virtually invisible for the drones. None of them seemed to be armed but then again you already know that Grail is a mage.
Amy rushes to hug and kiss you as you approach - her speed has somewhat increased you got to admit. She no longer is a  coach potato, but an athlete. She seem good, better than the last time you have seen her.

Grail speaks with a voice full of emotions, a bit like Strawberry's but without the erotic influence. There is something else in that voice, conviction, sincerity  - perhaps. Which is odd considering what you know about the man, the man does not respond to your taunt and says:

"I was informed that you acquired a farm filled with awakened beings referred to as pixies. These are genetically engineered as a potent drug for Vampires  and also provide a more humane alternative than feeding on people.

Look Max, you did your job secured the building and the Mafia lawyers are going to claim it as their own.
We know all this because set things in motion.  The thing is, I am willing to set free my entire cult if you allow us to walk out of here with 50% of the pixie population. Having such a large number of pixie means that we will never need to feed on a metahuman ever again.

The Mafia does not need to know how many pixies there are inside... They do not care if there are 362 pixies or 181, the fate of that buissness is doomed one way or the other. Nobody needs to know that you dealt with me.  There is also money in it, a considerably sum.  I can pay you 150k nuyen for the pixies. Should make a nice paycheck to you and help convince your colleagues to look the other way.

As for yourself?  Don't do it for the money, Do it so that your Vixen will not need to kill anyone ever again. "

The spirit nodes and heads off into the astral, searching for the drake.

Before he mentally weighed the pros and cons of the deal offered to him, he wanted to fixate on Amy first.  Well, had to would be more like it.  Considering she was kissing and grinding against him already.  Trying to envelope him with her embrace.  As much she could anyway with the fabric of their clothes getting in the way that is.  Although, that might not be an issue for much longer if Amy kept the effort up.  Maxwell reciprocates and passionately kisses her back.  Stimulating the vampire even further to where he could feel her move hands down his back.  Until she reached his ass and began hungrily squeezing in turn.  Guess she wasn't lying when she mentioned she was horny earlier.  Really, really horny...

Moments pass between the two locking lips before Maxwell breaks apart the kiss.  He smiles, looking down at her and plants another gentler kiss on her forehead.  Running a hand across her face he affectionately strokes her lips with his thumb in a repeated motion.  "Hey... I missed you too, Blue Vixen.  You've changed since we last saw each other a few days ago.  You've gotten thinner.  More agile too.  How do you feel though?"  He didn't know what to make of all this.  Of Amy and the deal the elder vampire offered.  On one hand - Maxwell wanted to disembowel Grail where he stood and string him up with his intestines until the lights in his eyes grew dark.  On the other hand - Maxwell wanted Amy to be happy.  He wanted the men and women in Grail's cult to be freed and not be slowly essence drained until they were little more than living zombies.

He didn't want his girlfriend to have to painfully kill her every meal.  Causing her to go insane with grief.  Or for her to have to gang-bang countless other men to learn how to drain her meals efficiently without killing them.  Maxwell's smile fades at the disgusting notion that he might have to share her if that remains the case.  He tilts his head upward towards Grail.  Before he decided anything, he would voice his opinion and concern on the matter.  For once, Maxwell's words didn't carry their usual venom.  "Aye, what you heard is true.  Mafia employs cowardly, dickless thugs and attorneys to sort out their every affair.  Legal or otherwise.  From shakedowns, to gunrunning, to prostitution rings.  I've only ever remembered them as being disappointing and lazy.  But... nevermind that. What I want to know is why haven't you taken this place for yourself?  Surely, with your information network, the location of the farm shouldn't have been a problem.  Coupled with your supposed allies and that small army of spirits under your control.  You could have taken it whenever.  Why wait until now?"

Amy whispers as she embraces you "I am good and I never felt so alive. I worked out like 'a lot' it seems like I hardly grow tired anymore. Incredible...  At least until I need to feed again" She sighed and grew cold as the bliss of the moment has passed. The mere thought frightened her and Maxwell could still see the same person underneath.

Grail shrugged "There are limitations of power - let's say that I could just raid this place and take what I wanted. I could not do so legally. Vampires are not legal entities in the UCAS, in fact there is permanent bounty on our heads. Meaning that it is legal to kill us.  Without the legal stuff I had to handle the police, Shadowrunners and even other vampires asking  for their share of the booty.

I'd have to face the hostility of others that would justifiably blame me for unrooting the source of their most desired delicacy.  It felt better to be discreet and use indirect means. That way we could stay hidden, happy and free."

Simone nods to herself at Kynos' orders.  >>Right, boss.  I am on it.  Let me know if you need any healing.  Hey, is there a medical bay down there?  I will need that for Sovereign when he is ready to slow down for a bit.<<

She looks around and sees that Irris has decided she does not need help right now and turns to see Sovereign leave the building.  Curious, she follows the wounded man and watches as he meets two people, one of whom is a woman.  Simone cannot make out the conversation, but the actions of the other woman leave no doubt that she and the scary mage are acquainted, and in an intimate matter.  Her heart sinks as she watches them embrace.  Clearly, the man is not trying to push the woman away.  Simone sighs, realizing that it was too good to be true and that she was most likely nothing more to the mage than a happy diversion and a way to while the time away.............as usual.  Sad, she continues to watch, unable to take her eyes off of the train wreck that was claiming her love life.

Maxwell nuzzles Amy as she laments.  Pressing his mouth to one of her ears, nibbling and tickling her when he whispers back.  "You know, you look cute when you pout.  With you in my arms I could capture you and fly away.  Maybe i'll find a lofty nook hidden somewhere and pleasure you in every way imaginable until you've had a dozen orgasms.  I mean... I wouldn't make for a very good dark magician or lover if I wasn't planning on doing something devious with you."  Removing himself from her ear, he smiles at her once again and runs a free hand through her hair to comfort her.  His smiles switches to a frown once he heard Grail's reply.  Maxwell covers his mouth and raggedly coughs.  A reminder that he isn't at full strength yet.  After clearing the bloody phlegm that pooled in his lungs, he looks back up a Grail and says.  "Alright.  So you're saying you could have taken this place whenever you felt like it.  But taking it without significant backlash from UCAS officials and their hunters or from members of the infected undead would've been another story.  Let's say for the sake of the argument I buy that.  However, a few caveats I like to point out that's making it hard to say yes.  How do I know you're going to release the ones enthralled to you and not kill them a week later.  Thought you only released them on the cusp of death.

Also, i'm all for different feeding alternatives for Amy... I mean Vixen.  But her version of you being high sounds like a fucking nightmare.  I'm going to take her word for it and ask the pertinent question - Why the hell should I leave you alone with her during all that?  I'm not callow or calloused enough to want her to have to go through that again.  No, fraggin' seriously.  Sell this harebrained idea to me.  Money doesn't mean drek-all to me.  It's only ever been an excuse.  A means to a end.  I've wasted and destroyed more nuyen than anyone could ever hope to dream of in their life.  Unlike me, you have shit for willpower or self-control.  How do I know she won't be harmed any further?"

Wheely has just finished picking up his drone remains and was making his way back to the bunker once he saw the mage discussing with two people. He tense at first, did they miss some guards? Or are the vamps already there? Maybe a third party? He relax a bit once he sees the gests of affections from Sovereign, a bit embarassed to see that he tries to stay professional and keep his distance, ready to intervene in case those two unknown variables prove dangerous.

Simone catches a bit of movement from the corner of her eye and turns her head slightly to see Kynos come out of the building and look to where the mage is standing.and talking to the man while feeling the woman up.  She moves her jaw and activates her microtransceiver.  >>Hey, boss.  Sovereign is talking to two people out here that I have not seen before.  Do you recognize them?  He certainly seems to know them as the girl is clearly into playing tonsil hockey with him when he is not talking.  What is our play here?<<

Kynos noticed something curious: Three members of his team had stopped doing anything and watched a point near the greenhouses that nothing whatsoever interesting going on. Having stashed three more surprise mulch buckets, he came out of the building and stopped.
He could see Sovereign and two others with his own eyes, but not with the camera feeds.

Quickly, as if nothing had happened, he changed position and got his rifle with the vision magnification to his shoulder. No doubt - it was Grail and a girl embracing Sovereign - likely that girl he had talked about. Andy or Any... no Amy,  right.

Kynos took position in a such a way that he wasn't in Grail's line of sight, keeping that creepy motherfragger's head in his sights. He couldn't do much about the camouflaged security guys that showed up on his IR glasses, but he was pretty sure he could get his shot off.

Carefully, since he now new that their system was compromised, he keyed Sovereigns microtransceiver with his own:
<<Hiho Sovereign, could you do me a favor and step just a little bit to the left. Otherwise you might get splattered by some vamp blood and brains. Just keep him occupied and distracted, thanks.>>

Answering Simone
<<If I'm not mistaken than that is none other than Grail himself. Quite a large bounty on his little monster head. Seems like he tries to con Sovereign by distracting him with a little Succubus.>>
Kynos sent without taking his eye from the target.
